    Abstract: The present invention provides a packet processing method and system, and a network device. The method includes: receiving, by a first network device, a packet, where the packet includes match object information and match condition information; determining, by the first network device, a to-be-matched second network device according to the match object information, where the second network device includes one or more network devices; matching, by the first network device, device information of the second network device with the match condition information; and performing, by the first network device, forwarding processing or discarding processing on the packet according to a match result of matching the device information of the second network device with the match condition information. By using the method provided in the present invention, excessive occupation of network bandwidth can be reduced, and network resources can be saved.

    Abstract: A method includes: setting up, by a first network device, a MACSec channel to a second network device according to the MACSec protocol; and sending, by the first network device, an ACP packet to the second network device by using the MACSec channel, where the ACP packet is carried in a MACSec frame, and a frame header of the MACSec frame carries identification information used to identify the ACP packet. By means of the packet transmission method, a MACSec channel is set up between adjacent nodes in a self-organizing network according to the MACSec protocol, and an ACP packet is transmitted between the adjacent nodes by using the MACSec channel and processed.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for communication between a network device and a terminal device, where the network device stores a correspondence between a link-layer address and an IP address that are of the terminal device, and the method includes: obtaining, by the network device, a first link-layer address; determining whether a quantity of IP addresses corresponding to the first link-layer address reaches a threshold; if the quantity reaches the threshold, selecting an IP address from the IP addresses, where a quantity of selected IP addresses is not greater than the maximum quantity; saving a correspondence between the first link-layer address and the selected IP address; and sending, according to the selected IP address, a message to a terminal device having the first link-layer address, where the message is used to notify the terminal device whether an IP address is selected by the network device.
