Abstract: The present disclosure relates to beam configuration methods and apparatus. One example method include receiving beam configuration information from a network device, where the beam configuration information indicates a terminal device to transmit or receive a signal by using a first beam, and transmitting or receiving the signal by using at least the first beam after a first preset duration starting from a first time-domain unit, where the first time-domain unit is an uplink slot in which an acknowledgement (ACK) message for the beam configuration information is transmitted to the network device.

Abstract: A communication method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: receiving configuration information of at least one frequency resource group, and receiving, by using at least one beam, a downlink signal on a corresponding frequency resource in the at least one frequency resource group, wherein each frequency resource group comprises at least two frequency resources, each frequency resource corresponds to at least one beam, and the configuration information comprises an identifier of each frequency resource group and an identifier of each frequency resource; and when it is detected based on the downlink signal that a beam associated with a first frequency resource in the frequency resource group fails, sending a beam recovery request on a second frequency resource in the frequency resource group. Correspondingly, a corresponding apparatus is further disclosed.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a beam switching method and a related device. Under the method a first subframe sent by a base station by using a first beam can be received by a terminal device. The first subframe includes first-order downlink control information and second-order downlink control information. The terminal device can search for the second-order downlink control information based on the first-order downlink control information. The first-order downlink control information includes location indication information of the second-order downlink control information in the first subframe. The terminal device can switch from the first beam to a second beam based on the found second-order downlink control information to receive a second subframe. The downlink control information includes a switching indication field of the second beam. In this way, flexibility of beam switching is improved, load balancing of a control channel is implemented, and a latency of beam switching is reduced.

Abstract: A power adjustment method and an apparatus are provided, to improve stability of transmit power of an uplink signal, so that the uplink signal can be effectively transmitted. The method includes: receiving a MAC CE (201), where the MAC CE is used to update a pathloss estimation reference signal; and determining a pathloss estimation value based on the pathloss estimation reference signal (202), where an effective time of the pathloss estimation value is not later than n+X+T, n is a time for sending feedback information, the feedback information is used to feed back whether the MAC CE is correctly received, X is fixed duration, and T is variable duration. It can be learned that the effective time of the pathloss estimation value is not later than n+X+T.

Abstract: This application provides a resource management method and apparatus. A terminal determines at least one reference signal resource corresponding to each of at least two frequency domain resources, and selects at least two reference signal resources from a plurality of reference signal resources corresponding to the at least two frequency domain resources, where the at least two selected reference signal resources are reference signal resources corresponding to at least two different frequency domain resources. In other words, some of the at least two reference signal resources are selected from a plurality of reference signal resources corresponding to one frequency domain resource, and other reference signal resources are selected from a plurality of reference signal resources corresponding to another frequency domain resource. In this way, the terminal can simultaneously receive data sent by a network device by using reference signal resources corresponding to different frequency domain resources, thereby improving communication efficiency.
