Abstract: In a mobile communication system being configured to comprise network slice instances and network subnet slice instances, a network entity performs identifier mapping in connection with services provided. In the identifier mapping operation, the network device receives a first identifier of a first network service. It then generates a second identifier of a second network service, and maps the second identifier to the first identifier. One of the first identifier and the second identifier is a network slice instance ID (NSI-ID).

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention relates to an operator management system in a first administrative domain for supporting a user roaming from the first administrative domain to a second administrative domain within a network architecture. The network architecture comprises a collection of interconnected network functions deployed in a control plane and a user plane, and the interconnected NFs comprise at least core network control plane functions and a core network user plane function. The OMS in the first administrative domain is configured to generate and issue to an OMS in the second administrative domain, a roaming management request for roaming a user from the first administrative domain to the second administrative domain, over an inter-operator management interface, and configured to instruct the OMS in the second administrative domain to configure the second administrative domain based on the roaming management request to support the user roaming.

Abstract: The application provides a switch device and a software defined network (SDN) controller. The switch device includes a storage unit configured to store control flow entries, each control flow entry comprises at least one service field associated with at least one processing action, a receiver configured to receive a data plane packet, and a transmitter configured to transmit, to the SDN controller, a packet-in message, and a processor configured to determine whether at least one information field of the data plane packet or of the packet-in message matches the at least one service field of a control flow entry, and instruct the transmitter to transmit the packet-in message according to the processing action associated with the matched service field, if the at least one information field matches the at least one service field.
