Abstract: A communication method, apparatus and storage medium are provided to resolve conflicts between different configurations of a terminal device. A first communication apparatus receives a first message from a network device. The first message includes first configuration information. The first communication apparatus receives or sends a discovery message and performs measurement based on the first configuration information by receiving or sending the discovery message. The measurement is measurement on signal quality of a sidelink between the first communication apparatus and a second communication apparatus. The first communication apparatus sends measurement information of the measurement to the network device.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses example communication methods, apparatuses, and mediums. One example method includes selecting a target side identifier corresponding to a communication type by a media access control (MAC) entity of a first terminal device, where the communication type includes unicast communication, multicast communication, or broadcast communication, and the target side identifier includes a destination layer 2 identifier or a destination layer 1 identifier. A first sidelink logical channel (LCH) is obtained by the MAC entity of the first terminal device, where the first sidelink LCH is an LCH having a highest priority among LCHs that correspond to the target side identifier and the communication type and that have data. A transmission resource to data on the first sidelink LCH is allocated by the MAC entity of the first terminal device.

Abstract: This specification discloses a relay communication method and an apparatus, and relates to the field of communication technologies, to ensure security in a relay user equipment (relay UE) discovery process. The method includes: Second user equipment broadcasts a layer 2 (L2) identifier, and first user equipment receives the L2 identifier of the second user equipment, and reports the L2 identifier of the second user equipment and signal quality of the second user equipment to a first access network device. Alternatively, a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) of second user equipment is sent to first user equipment through a unicast connection. In a relay UE discovery process, leakage of a UE RNTI is avoided, and security of relay UE is ensured.
