摘要: To provide an immunoglobulin purification method which achieves a high immunoglobulin recovery percentage without causing loss of the antibody nature of an immunoglobulin. The immunoglobulin purification method includes an adsorption step and a desorption step. The adsorption step involves adsorption of an immunoglobulin onto porous zirconia particles in a neutral buffer. The desorption step involves desorption of the immunoglobulin adsorbed on the porous zirconia particles from the porous zirconia particles by means of a neutral desorption liquid.

摘要: A measurement system is disclosed that includes features for detecting the presence of nitric oxide from a gas sample, such as exhaled breath. The measurement system includes an assembly that introduces one or more reducing gases into a reactor-sensor assembly to help stabilize the sensor signal response and improve the performance of the assembly over time. Suitable reducing gases include hydrogen gas (H2), carbon dioxide (CO), benzaldehyde, bisphenol A, and other similar compounds. The reducing gas may be introduced directly from one or more surrounding gases or through tubing or inline piping. The reducing gas may be generated from the liquid or solid forms.

摘要: Porous zirconia particles exhibit high specificity to a protein to be immobilized thereto and are used in immobilization of the protein. The porous zirconia particles have a pore diameter D50, at which a ratio of a cumulative pore volume to a total pore volume is 50%, the pore diameter D50 being in a range of 3.20 nm or more and 6.50 nm or less; and a pore diameter D90, at which a ratio of a cumulative pore volume to a total pore volume is 90%, the pore diameter D90 being in a range of 10.50 nm or more and 100.00 nm or less. The total pore volume of the particles is greater than 0.10 cm3/g. D50, D90, and the total pore volume are determined based on a pore diameter distribution measured through a BET method.

摘要: A cutting insert has cutting edges having the same shape and provided at respective corners of a polygon in rotational symmetry about the center axis of the polygon, is clamped in an upright position to a holder, and has a negative side rake angle on a rake face of a side cutting edge. A side cutting edge is present at an intersection ridge between a polygonal face and an outer peripheral face. The outer peripheral face includes a rake face of the cutting edge and a flank of an end cutting edge of another cutting edge different from the side cutting edge. The flank has a positive slope angle in opposition to a negative side rake angle of the side cutting edge. A breaker groove extending in a front-rear direction is formed in the rake face and cuts into the flank, in such a manner as to divide the rake face.

摘要: A particulate detection apparatus for controlling a particulate sensor which detects the amount of particulates discharged from a filter for collecting particulates contained in exhaust gas. The particulate sensor includes a detection section configured to electrify particulates contained in exhaust gas so as to produce electrified particulates. The particulate detection apparatus includes a period judgment section, an output obtainment section and an anomaly judgment section. The period judgment section judges whether or not the present point in time is within a previously set anomaly determination period just after completing a filter regeneration process. The output obtainment section obtains a sensor output representing the result of detection by the particulate sensor in the case where the present point in time is judged to be within the anomaly determination period. The anomaly judgment section judges whether or not the particulate sensor is anomalous based on the sensitivity characteristic of the sensor output.
