摘要: An automatic power transmitting system for an automotive vehicle, wherein the operation of an electromagnetic clutch is automatically controlled in response to automatic shifting actions of a constant-mesh transmission by synchromesh devices. The powder clutch includes a driving rotor unit having an outer yoke and an inner yoke which cooperate to define therebetween an annular space in which a thin-walled cylindrical member of a driven rotor unit is disposed, such that the cylindrical member cooperates with at least one of the outer and inner yokes to define at least one powder gap. A small thickness of the cylindrical member assures a minimum of rotational energy consumption by the synchromesh devices. A damper may be disposed so as to connect the driven rotor unit and the input shaft of the constant-mesh transmission, so as to provide a damping effect for preventing a rapid change in an amount of torque transmitted from the driven rotor unit to the input shaft.

摘要: A preview image of image data to be output is generated, in response to a request from an operation device, and can be displayed via the operation device. A first preview image of the image data is generated based on an output setting for outputting the image data. The first preview image is stored in a storage device. The output setting can be changed based on a changing request from the operation device. It is determined, in response to a second preview request from the operation device, after sending the first preview image, whether the first preview image is to be regenerated, based on the changed output setting. The first preview image stored in the storage device can be sent when the first preview image is not to be regenerated, for example, when a second preview image is not to be generated.

摘要: A fluid dispensing device is disclosed that is capable of producing two distinct spray patterns. The device may include a rotatable hub having a first barrel for producing a first spray pattern and a second barrel for producing a second spray pattern. The barrels may be oriented in different directions with a predetermined angle between directions, such as approximately 180 degrees. A shell may be coupled to and rotatable with the hub. The shell may include a first portion having a first structural feature corresponding to a characteristic of the first spray pattern and a second portion may having a second structural feature corresponding to a characteristic of the second spray pattern. The structural features inform the user of a characteristic of the spray pattern that will be discharged by the device by the associated barrels, thereby permitting the user to intuitively select the desired spray pattern.

摘要: An image forming apparatus, connected to an information processing device via a network, includes a receiving section, a memory, an interpretation section, and a transmission section. The receiving section receives a plurality of pieces of print data from the information processing device via the network. The plurality of pieces of print data include first print data for normal printing, second print data for interruption printing, and third print data. The memory has first to third buffers. The first and second buffers store the first and second print data, respectively. The third buffer stores the third print data during execution of the interruption printing of the second print data. The interpretation section interprets the plurality of pieces of print data. The transmission section transmits a reply message to the information processing device in accordance with a result of the third print data interpreted by the interpretation section.

摘要: A corn holder storage unit for retaining one or more corn holders in a safe, sanitary, and convenient manner is disclosed. One or more members defining a cavity and having at least one opening is adapted to accept and retain one or more corn holders, and preferably each member is adapted to retain a pair of corn holders along the member axis. Where the corn holder storage unit is configured to retain a pair of corn holders, the distance between opposing ends of the member should be at least two times the length of the corn holder operative end. Preferably a peripheral structure encloses the one or more members, and cooperation between the member and the peripheral structure prevents the holder from passing through the cavity and from being dislodged from the corn holder storage unit by providing an abutment rim and a variety of retaining fits. In an embodiment, a corn holder storage system is provided, wherein a plurality of tubes is enclosed by a peripheral structure, each of the tubes having two opposing open ends for retaining a plurality of corn holders and concealing the corn holder operative ends.
