    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems implementing beamforming, a neighboring base station may cause interference to a user equipment (UE) served by a different base station. To mitigate unexpected interference, an interference coordination region including time and frequency resources may be configured between the base stations. The interference coordination region may be configured based on long-term information for the base stations and may include one or both of a set of beam-avoidance sub-regions or a set of beam-preference sub-regions for a base station, where each sub-region is associated with a beam index. A base station may schedule a communication beam in the interference coordination region based on a beam-avoidance region (e.g., refraining from using a particular communication beam) or a beam-preference region (e.g., prioritizing a particular communication beam). The base station may transmit a message to a UE using the scheduled communication beam.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices providing for media access control (MAC) control element (CE) configuration and triggering of sounding reference signal (SRS) are described. For example, a MAC packet data unit (PDU) may include MAC CEs and may indicate (e.g., via one or more bits in fields included in the MAC PDU, such as a MAC subheader) that one or more MAC CEs include one or more SRS configuration parameters. Such SRS configuration parameters may be used by a wireless device to determine an SRS configuration, or to update or reconfigure SRS configuration parameters of an existing or previously defined SRS configuration. In some cases, downlink control information (DCI) may be coupled to a MAC CE, such that the coupled DCI may provide additional SRS configuration parameters to be used in conjunction with SRS parameters indicated by the MAC CE. In such cases, the MAC PDU may indicate a coupling configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first transceiver node of a set of transceiver nodes may transmit a control message (e.g., downlink control information (DCI)) to a user equipment (UE). Upon receiving the control message, the UE may switch from a first bandwidth part (BWP) configuration for the first transceiver node to a second BWP configuration for the first transceiver node. Additionally, the UE may switch from BWP configurations for other transceiver nodes of the set of transceiver nodes. Upon switching from the first BWP configuration, the UE may start a timer and may switch from the second BWP configuration to a third BWP configuration upon expiration of the timer. The timer may be restarted each time the UE receives a communication from any of the set of transceiver nodes, a subset of the set of transceiver nodes, or from the first transceiver node.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for assigning channels to networks in a group based on network coverage overlap and network weights. An example method generally includes determining whether channels are available for allocation at each network represented by a node in a network overlap graph, wherein each node in the graph is associated with an assigned channel in a shared spectrum, and for each network in the graph for which channels are available for allocation, identifying channels that are available for allocation to the network, and assigning at least one of the available channels to the network based, at least in part, on a weighting associated with the network.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine time-frequency resources allocated for an acknowledgement (ACK) feedback and channel state information (CSI) overlap with periodic resource allocation for the uplink shared channel (e.g., a configured grant-physical uplink shared channel (CG-PUSCH)). The UE may multiplex uplink control information (UCI) for the uplink shared channel with at least some of the ACK feedback, the CSI, or both over the uplink shared channel message. For example, the UE may use an encoding chain designated for multiplexing ACK feedback of a priority type of the uplink shared channel message. After the UE multiplexes the ACK feedback, the CSI, or both with the UCI, the UE may transmit the uplink shared channel message.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration message indicating that a control resource set for a downlink control channel is associated with a plurality of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the configuration message, that a first set of DMRS resource elements in a first symbol of the control resource set correspond to a first DMRS port of the plurality of DMRS ports and a second set of DMRS resource elements in a second symbol of the control resource set correspond to a second DMRS port of the plurality of DMRS ports. The UE may decode the downlink control channel based at least in part on the determining.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The UE may receive signaling configuring the UE with first and second sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets. The UE may receive a first downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a first physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and indicates a first sounding reference signal (SRS) resource indicator (SRI) value, and a second DCI that schedules a second PUSCH and indicates a second SRI value. The UE may determine SRS resources indicated by the first and second SRI values based on an association between control resource set (CORESET) pool index values and the first and second SRS resource sets. The UE may transmit the first PUSCH indicated by the first SRI value and the second PUSCH indicated by the second SRI value, in accordance with the determination.
