Abstract: Methods and devices for communicating in a communication system are described herein. One aspect of the subject matter described in the disclosure provides a method of communicating over one or more space-time streams. The method includes transmitting a precoded portion of a first stream with a bandwidth of 1 MHz or less. The method further includes transmitting, when there are at least two streams, a precoded portion of a second stream with a cyclic shift delay, relative to the first stream, of 4 μs. The method further includes transmitting, when there are at least three streams, a precoded portion of a third stream with a cyclic shift delay, relative to the first stream, of 1 μs. The method further includes transmitting, when there are at least four streams, a precoded portion of a fourth stream with a cyclic shift delay, relative to the first stream, of 5 μs.
