    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to scheduling and communicating in an uplink direction over a medium shared by multiple network operating entities are provided. A first wireless communication device transmits, to a second wireless communication device, a message indicating an uplink allocation in a transmission slot, the uplink allocation including an allocation size based on an allowable listen-before-talk (LBT) delay in the transmission slot. The first wireless communication device receives, from the second wireless communication device, an uplink communication signal in the transmission slot, the uplink communication signal including an uplink data portion based on the allocation size and a filler portion associated with an LBT delay in the transmission slot.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to scheduling and communicating in a frequency spectrum using interlaced frequency resources are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a first interlace configuration indicating a first set of interlaced frequency resources in a frequency band based on a power spectral density (PSD) parameter. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, a first frequency resource exclusion configuration. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, a first allocation including at least some frequency resources from the first set of interlaced frequency resources based on the first frequency resource exclusion configuration. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, a first communication signal based on the first allocation.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support group-based acknowledgment feedback techniques. Two or more different groups of downlink transmissions may each have an associated group-based acknowledgment feedback, and a base station may transmit downlink control information to a UE that indicates one or more parameters that are used to determine which downlink transmissions are to be reported in the group-based feedback. Based on the parameters in the downlink control information, the UE may determine the feedback to be reported, and a timing for when to transmit the feedback to the base station.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating positioning reference signals (PRSs) for narrowband communication are provided. A first wireless communication device determines a time-frequency PRS pattern based at least in part on a narrowband communication frequency band configuration and a PRS subframe configuration mode associated with a set of subframes. The first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a plurality of PRSs using the determined PRS time-frequency pattern in the set of subframes. The PRS subframe configuration mode can indicate a first configuration including a bitmap indicating a set of PRS subframes positioned within a group of contiguous subframes, a second configuration indicating a subset of the group of contiguous subframes that may carry the PRSs, or a combination thereof. The first configuration and/or the second configuration can be used to indicate the set of subframes.

    Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for hybrid automatic retransmission request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) bundling in half duplex frequency division duplexing (HD-FDD) systems are provided. One technique includes determining ACK parameter(s) to be used for acknowledging a bundled transmission that includes instance(s) of a channel across subframe(s). An indication of the ACK parameter(s) is signaled to a user equipment (UE). The ACK parameter(s) include a first ACK parameter that conveys a size of the bundled transmission and a second ACK parameter that conveys an amount of time for the UE to delay acknowledging a data transmission in an instance of the channel after receiving the data transmission. The UE may acknowledge the bundled transmission in accordance with the ACK parameter(s).
