Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive, via a first control resource set (CORESET) of a plurality of CORESETs monitored by the UE, a first downlink grant that schedules a downlink data transmission to the UE. The UE may receive the downlink data transmission from a first transmission reception point (TRP) of a plurality of TRPs and transmit feedback information for the downlink data transmission to the first TRP based at least in part on the first TRP being associated with the first CORESET or the first downlink grant being received via the first CORESET.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may use multiple antenna ports to communicate with multiple transmission/reception points (TRPs), and each antenna port may correspond to a spatial dimension along which wireless communications may be transmitted. The UE may transmit a first sounding reference signal (SRS) to a serving TRP to aid the serving TRP in determining a subset of spatial dimensions available to the UE along which to transmit downlink transmissions. Upon receiving a downlink transmission from the serving TRP along the subset of spatial dimensions as determined by the serving TRP, the UE may transmit a second SRS to a neighboring TRP to indicate the subset of spatial dimensions. The neighboring TRP avoid transmitting downlink transmissions to the UE or to other UEs along the subset of spatial dimensions, thereby mitigating interference along the subset of spatial dimensions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently scheduling semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) downlink transmissions and dynamic downlink transmissions to maximize throughput in a wireless communications system. In one example, a user equipment (UE) may receive downlink data in a dynamic downlink transmission and receive the same downlink data or no data in an SPS downlink transmission when the dynamic downlink transmission is scheduled to occur after the SPS downlink transmission and before an uplink feedback transmission for the SPS downlink transmission. In another example, a UE may receive downlink data in a dynamic downlink transmission and receive the same downlink data or no downlink data in an SPS downlink transmission when the SPS downlink transmission is scheduled to occur after the dynamic downlink transmission and before an uplink feedback transmission for the dynamic downlink transmission.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a trigger event configuration for power headroom reporting for a first service type that has a lower latency condition and a higher reliability condition than a second service type. For example, the first service type may be for low latency communications, and the second service type may be for mobile broadband (MBB) communications. The UE may detect a trigger event for power headroom reporting for the first service type based on the trigger event configuration. The UE may transmit a power headroom report for the first service type based on detecting the trigger event. By transmitting the power headroom report for the first service type, the UE may indicate whether power boosting for the first service type is available.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit a downlink control transmission and multiple downlink data transmissions to a user equipment (UE). The UE may schedule an uplink data transmission based on the downlink control transmission and may schedule transmission acknowledgement messages based on the multiple downlink data transmissions. The UE may identify that the scheduled uplink data transmission overlaps with the scheduled transmission acknowledgement messages. The UE may generate one or more acknowledgement codebooks for transmission of the multiple transmission acknowledgment messages and may multiplex the one or more acknowledgement codebooks with the uplink data transmission on the uplink data channel. In some cases, the UE may multiplex the codebooks based on determining that a set of timing thresholds are satisfied by an earliest of the multiple transmission acknowledgement messages and the uplink data transmission with respect to one or more downlink transmissions.

A UE may determine resource amounts for transmitting feedback codebook for two different service types based on satisfaction of a multiplexing condition by overlapping resource schedules. The codebooks may be encoded according to different coding rates to generate encoded feedback codebooks. The encoded codebooks may be mapped to transmission resources according to codebook payload sizes, encoding rates, and available resources and transmitted according to the mapping.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications provide for feedback transmissions using an uplink shared channel. A user equipment (UE) may transmit feedback to a base station using physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resources. The base station may transmit an uplink grant to the UE indicating a set of resources for uplink data transmissions. The base station may subsequently transmit a downlink grant for the UE. Based on monitoring resources indicated by the downlink grant, the UE may generate feedback indicating the success of receiving or decoding the PDSCH transmission. The UE may transmit the feedback to the base station on the PUSCH resources. In some cases, the UE may transmit both the feedback for the PDSCH transmission received after the uplink grant and for a second PDSCH transmission received prior to the uplink grant using PUSCH resources.

A user equipment may be configured to monitor a first set of decoding candidates within a first search space for receiving a physical downlink control channel message. A base station may identify downlink data for the user equipment and may transmit a signal to the user equipment. The user equipment may receive the signal within the first search space. In some cases, the signal may include a command for activating a second search space. The user equipment may monitor a second set of decoding candidates within the second search space based on receiving the signal. The user equipment communicate, with the base station, based on monitoring the first set of decoding candidates within the first search space and the second set of decoding candidates within the second search space.
