For example, then systems and techniques can include determining, at the network entity, a transmission timing compensation between a first reference signal and a second reference signal. The first reference signal can be transmitted using a first communication link. For example, the systems and techniques can include obtaining, at the network entity, a target relative time difference (RTD). A transmission timing pre-compensation can be determined at the network entity between a first reference signal and a second reference signal, wherein the transmission timing pre-compensation is determined based on the target RTD and one or more network delay components. The first reference signal and the second reference signal can be transmitted using the transmission timing pre-compensation to offset the first reference signal from the second reference signal by the target RTD.

Abstract: A scheduling offset between an uplink and downlink radio frame timing structure of a user equipment (UE) may be updated to provide for more efficient utilization of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes in a non-terrestrial network. For instance, different UEs may experience different round trip delays (RTDs) with a non-terrestrial cell. Different UEs may be configured with different scheduling offsets such that scheduling delays may be reduced and HARQ processes identifiers may be reused more rapidly. Additionally or alternatively, wireless communications systems may define one or more separation distances (or timing thresholds) for timing between communications and HARQ processes may be reused based on the separation distance threshold (e.g., such that a satellite may reuse a HARQ process ID for two scheduled communications that have not yet been performed by the UE).

Abstract: Wireless devices can use various super-slot formats to facilitate wireless communication using half duplex (HD) frequency-division duplex (FDD) (HD-FDD). A super-slot has a duration that can span over multiple slots and/or subframes. A super-slot can include uplink symbols and downlink symbols. The super-slot can include a guard period that separates uplink symbols from downlink symbols in the same super-slot. A super-slot can support signal repetition to provide coverage enhancement. Signal repetition can be combined with frequency hopping in a super-slot to provide diversity gain.
