Abstract: A method for communication in a wireless LAN system according to an embodiment includes: receiving, by a first wireless terminal including a main radio module and a WUR module for receiving a wake-up packet modulated based on OOK scheme, the wake-up packet from a second wireless terminal based on the WUR module, wherein the wake-up packet includes first information indicating that a broadcast scheme is applied to the wake-up packet and second information for indicating the presence of a group addressed frame buffered by the second wireless terminal; and controlling, by the first wireless terminal, the main radio module such that the main radio module remains in a doze state until a predetermined wake-up time after reception of the wake-up packet.

Abstract: A method for an STA for receiving a WUR frame in a WLAN, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving a WUR frame including a first portion of a TSF timer and an MIC value; calculating an MIC verification value on the basis of the first portion of the TSF timer and the TSF timer stored in the STA; and determining whether to discard the received WUR frame depending on whether the MIC value included in the WUR frame matches the calculated MIC verification value, wherein the first portion of the TSF timer included in the WUR frame is the 8-bits following the least significant N-bit in the TSF timer, and the STA may obtain a continuous 48-bit partial TSF timer value through the first portion of the TSF timer and a second portion of the TSF timer stored in the STA, and may calculate the MIC verification value on the basis of the obtained 48-bit partial TSF timer value.

Abstract: In the wireless LAN system, the station STA receives a frame and updates a corresponding Inter-BSS Network Allocation Vector (NAV) or Intra-BSS NAV according to whether the frame is an Inter-BSS (Basic Service Set) frame or an Intra-BSS frame. If the received frame cannot be distinguished from the Inter-BSS frame or the Intra-BSS frame, it updates the Inter-NAV, and after receiving the frame that cannot be distinguished from the Inter-BSS frame or the Intra-BSS frame, it receives the CF-End frame, and then the corresponding NAV is reset.

Accordingly, the STA may transit to a doze state on the basis of the subsequent scheduling information for each STA.

Abstract: A method by which a station (STA) operates in a wake up receiver (WUR) mode in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: entering into the WUR mode by turning off a WLAN transceiver of the STA and turning on a WUR receiver of the STA; starting a timer by entering into the WUR mode; and turning on the WLAN transceiver of the STA when the timer is completed or a wake-up signal for waking up the STA is detected through the WUR receiver, wherein the timer can indicate the remaining time for which the STA can maintain the WUR mode until the STA receives a predetermined WUR signal for confirming the presence of an associated access point (AP).

Abstract: A method of transmitting a frame by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN system supporting an HE PPDU (high efficiency physical layer protocol data unit) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: setting a first duration field included in an HE-SIG A field; and transmitting a frame including the HE-SIG A field and a MAC header, wherein the first duration field is set to indicate a TXOP (transmission opportunity) value using a smaller number of bits than a second duration field included in the MAC header, and a granularity of a time unit used for indicating the TXOP value in the first duration field is set to be different from a granularity of a time unit used in the second duration field.
