Abstract: A configuration is disclosed to enable a UE to determine and/or prepare Rx beams prior to downlink reception in multi-TRP operation. The apparatus sends, to a first TRP, a report indicating a plurality of threshold scheduled offsets. Each threshold scheduled offset associated with a different number of TCI states. The apparatus receives, from the first TRP, DCI including a TCI and a time-offset. The TCI comprising at least one TCI state. Each TCI state indicating a Tx beam for a TRP of a set of TRPs. The set of TRPs including the first TRP. The apparatus determines at least one Rx beam based on at least one of the received TCI, the time-offset, or one or more of the plurality of threshold scheduled offsets. The apparatus receives, based on the received time-offset, a PDSCH from each TRP of the set of TRPs through the determined at least one Rx beam.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, and computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing paging monitoring by a wireless device. In one aspect, the wireless device may receive a serving cell signal from a cell. The wireless device may determine a delay time based on the serving cell signal. The wireless device may monitor for the paging signal during the determined delay time. The wireless device may stop the monitoring for the paging signal upon or after expiration of the determined delay time. In some aspects, the wireless device may receive an indication of multiple paging signal monitoring occasions from the cell, which may include an indication of a number of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) to be transmitted from the cell and a number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasions per SSB in a paging occasion.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling from a base station that identifies a set of channel monitoring parameters associated with monitoring an unlicensed frequency spectrum band, the channel monitoring parameters comprising a length of a pause duration between successive transmission opportunities. The UE may identify a termination of a transmission opportunity in the unlicensed frequency spectrum band. The UE may monitor the unlicensed frequency spectrum band following the termination of the transmission opportunity using the set of channel monitoring parameters.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to transmitting communication signals are provided. A first wireless communication device performs a first LBT during a first time period for transmitting a first communication signal associated with a first priority. The first wireless communication device performs a second LBT during a second time period for transmitting a second communication signal associated with a second priority, wherein the first time period is at least partially overlapping with the second time period, and wherein the first priority is different from the second priority. The first wireless communication device communicates with a second wireless communication device, at least one of the first communication signal or the second communication signal based on at least one of the first LBT or the second LBT.

Abstract: Subband based uplink access for new radio (NR) shared spectrum (NR-SS) is disclosed. A base station performs a listen before talk (LBT) procedure on system allocated subbands of a shared communication channel. The base station determines a first set of candidate subbands that are signaled to a user equipment (UE). The UE performs an LBT procedure on the first set to identify a second set of candidate subbands including the successful LBT subbands of the first set. Aspects of the disclosure provide for managing and refining the subbands for transmissions. A first aspect provides the UE to determine a transmission behavior based on mismatch between the first and second sets. A second aspect provides the first and second sets in handshaking between the base station and UE for refining the eventual transmission set of subbands. A third aspect provides cross-band LBT reporting for further refining subband selection in later slots.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for signaling channel preemption indications that enable a user equipment (UE) of a first type to take one or more actions on resources that are re-allocated to an UE of a second type. An exemplary method generally includes determining that resources allocated for a scheduled transmission by a first user equipment (UE) of a first type overlaps with uplink channel resources allocated to a second UE of a second type. The method also includes signaling, based on the determination, an uplink preemption indication (ULPI), to the second UE, that identifies at least some of the overlapping resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. After receiving a transmission, a user equipment (UE) may store status information for the transmission and send an acknowledgment message that includes a signature. When a base station receives an acknowledgment message with a signature, it may transmit a subsequent downlink grant that includes the same signature. The signature included in a downlink grant may enable the UE to retrieve a stored status and decode the next data transmission based on the retrieved status. That is, the base station may use the signature in the grant to indicate which acknowledgment the grant is based on.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure an apparatus, e.g., a base station, maybe configured to receive, from a UE, ACK/NACK feedback indicating that a subset of CBGs of a set of transmitted CBGs failed to be properly decoded. The apparatus maybe further configured to retransmit the subset of CBGs based on the ACK/NACK feedback and transmit information indicating the CBGs being retransmitted. In one configuration, a TB of new data maybe transmitted with the retransmitted subset of CBGs in a subframe/slot. In an aspect, a UE may be configured to determine that one or more CBGs of a received set of CBGs failed to be properly decoded at the UE, and send ACK/NACK feedback indicating the one or more CBGs that failed to be decoded. The UE maybe further configured to receive a retransmission of CBGs in the set of CBGs, and information indicating the retransmitted CBGs.
