Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, an indication of first level shared information, that is shared between at least the first UE and a second UE, for deriving a security key from common sidelink information. The first UE may determine second level shared information, that is shared between the first UE and the second UE, for deriving the security key from the common sidelink information. The first UE may communicate with the second UE using the security key derived from the common sidelink information based at least in part on the first level shared information and the second level shared information. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. One or more second user equipments (UEs) may determine to communicate with a third UE and perform route discovery techniques based on a sidelink relay operation. The third UE may determine to utilize a first UE to facilitate communicating with the third UE. The second UEs may transmit control signaling to the first UE indicating a request for one or more temporary identifications assigned to the second UEs, the third UE, or both. The first UE may generate the one or more temporary identifications and transmit the one or more temporary identifications to the second UEs and the third UE. The first UE may relay further communications associated with an end-to-end (E2E) link that include the one or more temporary identifications in a sidelink relay adaptation protocol (SRAP) header.

The UE may transmit, to the second UE and based at least in part on the NACK and a retransmission reservation, a retransmission of the transport block via the sidelink unlicensed band in a retransmission occasion of a plurality of retransmission occasions associated with the retransmission reservation. Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a first UE to utilize inference results provided by at least a second UE to improve its inference accuracy. In one aspect, a first UE establishes an ML inference result sharing session with one or more second UEs for at least one ML inference task. The first UE receives a first set of ML inference results associated with the at least one ML inference task, where the first set of ML inference results is received from the one or more second UEs during the ML inference result sharing session. The first UE estimates an aggregated ML inference result based on at least one of the first set of ML inference results or a second set of ML inference results, where the second set of ML inference results is configured by the first UE for the at least one ML inference task.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support vehicle alerting, such as in autonomous driving networks. Vehicle alerting may provide messages alerting other vehicles and/or network components to instances of autonomous driving disengagement. A vehicle operating according to an autonomous vehicle (AV) mode may transmit an over-the-air message to one or more other devices, such as nodes of an autonomous driving network, to alert the one or more devices to the vehicle disengaging the AV mode. A device receiving an autonomous disengagement message may alter one or more autonomous operation aspects in response to the over-the-air message. Abstract: A sidelink-based positioning session is initiated by a user equipment (UE) with an indication that the positioning session will be a unicast session using a single protocol design that supports both Long-Term Evolution (LTE) and New Radio deployments. An initiator UE may provide an explicit indication to a target UE that the sidelink positioning session will be unicast using a unicast flag in an initial sidelink positioning initiation message or in a direct link establishment request message. The initiator UE may provide an implicit indication to a target UE that the sidelink positioning session will be unicast by initiating an Authentication & Security procedure, e.g., by sending a direct link authentication request, after sending the initial sidelink positioning initiation message.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may determine a set of one or more parameters for sidelink ranging sessions among session participants comprising a session initiator and at least one session responder, wherein the set of one or more parameters comprises: a first parameter indicating a first duration of time that a sidelink ranging session initiator allocates to receive, from a session responder, a response to a session request; and a second parameter indicating a second duration of time that a session responder allocates to receive a session confirmation from a session initiator after issuing, to the session initiator, a response to a session request. The UE may establish a sidelink ranging session according to the set of one or more parameters.
