    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may receive control signaling indicating multiple sidelink channels of a sidelink resource pool, a mapping between each sidelink channel of the multiple sidelink channels to a corresponding feedback channel of multiple feedback channels, and a time gap between sidelink channel transmission and feedback transmission with respect to a feedback channel sub-slot of multiple feedback channel sub-slots within a slot. Accordingly, the first wireless device may receive a sidelink data message on a first sidelink channel of the multiple sidelink channels and may transmit sidelink feedback information for the sidelink data message in the feedback channel sub-slot of the slot on a first feedback channel of the multiple feedback channels corresponding to the first sidelink channel. The described techniques may enable the first wireless device to transmit the sidelink feedback information with reduced latency and improved reliability.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for narrowband communications using frequency hopping. In some implementations, a user equipment (UE) may receive a discovery reference signal (DRS) including a skipping signal identifying one or more UEs, may stay on an anchor channel when the skipping signal identifies the UE, and may switch from the anchor channel to a first downlink (DL) hopping channel of a DL frequency hopping pattern when the signal does not identify the UE. In some other implementations, a base station (BS) may be configured to output a DRS including a skipping signal identifying one or more UEs, output a signal indicating a channel occupancy time (COT) obtained on a first DL hopping channel of a DL frequency hopping pattern, and output DL data on the first DL hopping channel of the DL frequency hopping pattern.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects of the present disclosure provide for a user equipment (UE) performing contention-based access to utilize historical pathloss measurements to identify available resources for beamformed sidelink communications. The historical pathloss measurements may be obtained by the UE, by one or more other UEs, or both, where the UE may combine its own historical pathloss measurements with historical pathloss measurements obtained at the one or more other UEs. Such historical pathloss measurements may allow the UE to determine if one or more beam combinations associated with the resources may cause unacceptable interference (e.g., interference satisfying a threshold) while reducing signaling overhead associated with exchanges of inter-UE coordination messages. Accordingly, the UE may determine to yield transmissions over one or more resources or to yield reception to allow other UEs to utilize the one or more resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first downlink control information (DCI) message indicating a first listen-before-talk (LBT) grant for accessing a sidelink channel, the first DCI being associated with a first search space of the UE. The UE may then receive a second DCI message indicating a second LBT grant for accessing the channel or an uplink channel, the second DCI being associated with a second search space of the UE and including an activation trigger for the first LBT grant of the first DCI. The UE may then perform a first LBT procedure to access the sidelink channel in accordance with the first LBT grant during a first channel occupancy time (COT). The UE may further perform a second LBT procedure to access the uplink channel during the first COT.
