Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to support resource selection for a sidelink transmission based on a priority of available resources. A physical (PHY) layer of a user equipment (UE) may report different subsets of available resources to a medium access control (MAC) layer. Each subset may be associated with a different priority and the MAC layer may use the subsets to select a resource for the sidelink transmission. The MAC layer may additionally or alternatively maintain a list of UE identifiers (IDs) and may provide the list of the UE IDs to the PHY layer for resource identification. The PHY layer may use the list to implement different reference signal parameters for UEs associated with the list of UE IDs than for other UEs. The PHY layer may report the set of available resources to the MAC layer, based on the list of UE IDs.

Abstract: A transmitting device (e.g., a base station, a user equipment (UE)) may pre-generate waveform components, for a transmission to be sent subsequent to a listen before talk (LBT) procedure, based on a waveform generation capability of the transmitting device (e.g., based on their memory storage capability, their ability to combine waveform components in the time domain following a per subband LBT procedure, etc.). Further, certain behavior or rules (e.g., which waveform components are generated, how many subbands are included in a waveform component, etc.) may be expected by both a base station and a UE depending on the waveform generation capability of the transmitting device and the resource allocation. Additionally, resource block group (RBG) configurations (e.g., RBG definitions) for improved resource allocation are also described. A bases station may indicate one or more guard band boundaries to a UE to indicate such RBG configurations that account for guard bands.

The first UE may monitor for sidelink messages over a transmit beam selected for transmitting data from the first UE. The first UE may receive, from a second UE, a sidelink message including an indication of resources reserved for sidelink transmissions to the second UE. Based on the indication, the first UE may select available resources over which to transmit data. The first UE may receive the sidelink message over a sidelink feedback channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of a set of feedback channel occasions corresponding to a first sidelink data channel in a first listen-before-talk (LBT) sub-band, the set of feedback channel occasions located over multiple LBT sub-bands of an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. The UE may receive a data transmission over the first sidelink data channel and may determine to transmit feedback associated with the data transmission. The UE, based on the configuration of the set of feedback channel occasions, may perform LBT for each of the set of feedback channel occasions to determine which of the set of feedback channel occasions are available to the UE for transmitting the feedback associated with the data transmission. The UE may transmit feedback over one or more of the set of feedback channel occasions accordingly.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for performing radio link monitoring (RLM) and radio link failure procedures in multiple-TRP (mTRP) communications, wherein the first TRP is part of a first cell group comprising the first TRP and one or more additional TRPs. The techniques include a method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE), comprising establishing a plurality of radio links between the UE and a first transmission reception point (TRP) and a second TRP, determining an RLM resource of a first radio link of the plurality of radio links, monitoring the first radio link according to the determined RLM resource, detecting an RLF of the first radio link, determining that the first TRP is associated with the RLF of the first radio link based on the RLM resource of the first radio link, and transmitting an RLF notification indicating the RLF of the first radio link.

Abstract: A configuration is disclosed to enable a UE to determine and/or prepare Rx beams prior to downlink reception in multi-TRP operation. The apparatus sends, to a first TRP, a report indicating a plurality of threshold scheduled offsets. Each threshold scheduled offset associated with a different number of TCI states. The apparatus receives, from the first TRP, DCI including a TCI and a time-offset. The TCI comprising at least one TCI state. Each TCI state indicating a Tx beam for a TRP of a set of TRPs. The set of TRPs including the first TRP. The apparatus determines at least one Rx beam based on at least one of the received TCI, the time-offset, or one or more of the plurality of threshold scheduled offsets. The apparatus receives, based on the received time-offset, a PDSCH from each TRP of the set of TRPs through the determined at least one Rx beam.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, and computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing paging monitoring by a wireless device. In one aspect, the wireless device may receive a serving cell signal from a cell. The wireless device may determine a delay time based on the serving cell signal. The wireless device may monitor for the paging signal during the determined delay time. The wireless device may stop the monitoring for the paging signal upon or after expiration of the determined delay time. In some aspects, the wireless device may receive an indication of multiple paging signal monitoring occasions from the cell, which may include an indication of a number of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) to be transmitted from the cell and a number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasions per SSB in a paging occasion.

A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling from a base station that identifies a set of channel monitoring parameters associated with monitoring an unlicensed frequency spectrum band, the channel monitoring parameters comprising a length of a pause duration between successive transmission opportunities. The UE may identify a termination of a transmission opportunity in the unlicensed frequency spectrum band. The UE may monitor the unlicensed frequency spectrum band following the termination of the transmission opportunity using the set of channel monitoring parameters.

Abstract: Subband based uplink access for new radio (NR) shared spectrum (NR-SS) is disclosed. A base station performs a listen before talk (LBT) procedure on system allocated subbands of a shared communication channel. The base station determines a first set of candidate subbands that are signaled to a user equipment (UE). The UE performs an LBT procedure on the first set to identify a second set of candidate subbands including the successful LBT subbands of the first set. Aspects of the disclosure provide for managing and refining the subbands for transmissions. A first aspect provides the UE to determine a transmission behavior based on mismatch between the first and second sets. A second aspect provides the first and second sets in handshaking between the base station and UE for refining the eventual transmission set of subbands. A third aspect provides cross-band LBT reporting for further refining subband selection in later slots.
