Abstract: A first control node may communicate with a user equipment (UE) using an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network, and a second control node may manage a configuration of the IAB network. The second control node may not have the information needed to configure the IAB network, such as quality of service (QoS) information associated with a data radio bearer (DRB) used for communications between the first control node and the UE, and thus may not be able to configure a user plane interface tunnel and/or a radio link control (RLC) channel to assist with satisfying the QoS level. Some techniques and apparatuses described herein enable the second control node to receive QoS information associated with setting up a user plane interface tunnel between the first control node and an IAB node that serves a UE for which the user plane interface tunnel is being set up.

Abstract: In a channel occupancy time (COT), a scheduling entity can transmit a first downlink (DL) transmission burst to a scheduled entity, and receive an uplink (UL) transmission burst from the scheduled entity. The scheduling entity can determine whether the scheduled entity performed a type 1 or type 2 channel access procedure for the UL transmission burst. A scheduled entity can use a first type of channel access procedure to initiate a first COT on a communication channel and request a network access node to perform a second type of channel access procedure in a next DL transmission burst. A network access node can receive a message from a scheduled entity, wherein the message comprises a control indication requesting the network access node to perform a first type of channel access procedure in a next DL transmission burst.

Abstract: Aspects relate to technologies and techniques for migrating a radio access network (RAN) node associated with a first donor node in a communications network. The first donor node may receive, via a first communications interface, such as an F1-C or resource control (RRC) interface, cell configuration data associated with one or more cells of the RAN node activated by the first donor node. The first donor node may process the cell configuration data and transit the cell configuration data, using a second communications interface, such as an Xn or X2 interface, to a second donor node for use in migrating the RAN node from the first donor node to the second donor node.

CONFLICT AVOIDANCE IN RANDOM ACCESS CHANNEL (RACH) RESOURCES IN INTEGRATED ACCESS AND BACKHAUL (IAB) NETWORKS

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for avoiding conflicts of resources assigned to one or more signals with resources assigned to Random Access Channel (RACH) in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (TAB) network. Configurations for first and second sets of signals are obtained for a first and second base station (BS) respectively. Based on the obtained configurations, a RACH configuration is determined for the first BS for performing a RACH procedure with the second BS over a wireless backhaul link, wherein one or more Physical RACH (PRACH) occasions according to the determined RACH configuration do not conflict with resources used for at least one of the first or the second set of signals. The determined RACH configuration is communicated to the second BS, wherein the second BS transmits a RACH signal to the first BS based on the determined RACH configuration.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a repeater may receive configuration information associated with configuring involvement of the repeater in an access procedure; receive a signal associated with the access procedure from a first wireless communication device; and forward the signal associated with the access procedure to a second wireless communication device based at least in part on the configuration information and other information, associated with the access procedure, received by the repeater. Numerous other aspects are provided.
