Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may selectively transmit, to a network entity, a request for a dedicated system information block type 1 (SIB1) for a target cell based at least in part a determination of whether an SIB1 request criterion is satisfied for an idle state cell reselection from a source cell to the target cell. The UE may receive, from the network entity, an indication of one or more target cell SIB1 parameters included in the dedicated SIB1 for the target cell, based at least in part on transmitting the request for the dedicated SIB1 for the target cell. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling identifying a configuration for a reference signal comprising a single carrier waveform and associated with single carrier signals for a plurality of symbol periods, the configuration indicating a plurality of channels associated with the reference signal and a set of functions associated with the reference signal. The UE may receive, according to the configuration, the reference signal in a first one or more symbol periods of the plurality of symbol periods and the single carrier signals on the plurality of channels in a second one or more symbol periods of the plurality of symbol periods. The UE may perform the set of functions on the received single carrier signals based at least in part on the received reference signal.

The apparatus may encode a plurality of bits associated with QAM, the plurality of bits corresponding to a circular buffer associated with at least one RV, the plurality of bits including a plurality of systematic bits. The apparatus may also transfer the plurality of bits from the circular buffer associated with the at least one RV to a first buffer and a second buffer. Additionally, the apparatus may map the plurality of bits from the first buffer and the second buffer to a plurality of modulation symbols.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for positioning. A receiver receives complementary timing information associated with the positioning reference signals (PRS) of a repetition of a PRS sequence. The complementary timing information distinguishes a repetition of a PRS sequence from remaining repetitions of the PRS sequence. Based on the complementary timing information associated with different PRS from different non-terrestrial vehicles indicating that the PRS were transmitted during the same radio frame, the receiver can determine an observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) between the PRS received from the respective non-terrestrial vehicles.

In an aspect, a wireless device maps data, a unique word (UW) sequence, and a suppression signal to a set of reserved time-domain resources based on a time-domain resource mapping and reservation rule to produce DFT input data. DFT processing is performed on the DFT input data to produce IFFT input data. IFFT processing is performed on the IFFT input data to produce the GI-based waveform with a data part (e.g., non-zero part) and a tail part (e.g., zero tail part). The wireless device may further transmit the GI-based waveform.

The UE may receive, via a master information block (MIB), configuration information for a control resource set (CORESET) associated with physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring for initial access, where the configuration information indicates a frequency domain resource allocation for the CORESET, and where the frequency domain resource allocation for the CORESET is at least partially outside of the initial downlink bandwidth. The UE may receive one or more PDCCH messages associated with the CORESET based at least in part on at least one of modifying a resource mapping of the CORESET or modifying the initial downlink bandwidth. An example method for wireless communication at a receiving device includes receiving a first symbol of a single carrier waveform, the first symbol including a first set of DMRS resources. The example method also includes receiving a second symbol of the single carrier waveform, the second symbol including a second set of DMRS resources, the second set of DMRS resources associated with at least one of a DMRS starting location and a DMRS duration that is different than the first set of DMRS resources.
