Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for channel sensing with self-interference awareness for unlicensed band. A node may transmit, via a first entity of the node, at least one signal during a LBT procedure of a second entity of the node. The at least one signal may include a signal energy. The LBT procedure may be associated with a total measured interference from all detected energy sources. The node may determine a self-interference at the second entity of the node based on the signal energy of the at least one signal transmitted via the first entity of the node and calculate an interference from at least one other source based on a difference between the total measured interference from all detected energy sources and the self-interference determined based on the signal energy of the at least one signal.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for UL LBT status reporting. A scheduled node (e.g., a UE) may sense a status of each LBT channel in a set of one or more LBT channels. The set of one or more LBT channels may include at least one of one or more first LBT channels associated with a scheduling grant or one or more second LBT channels unassociated with the scheduling grant. The scheduled node may transmit, to a scheduling node (e.g., a base station), a LBT status report indicative of the status of each LBT channel in the set of one or more LBT channels. The scheduling node may schedule, via a second scheduling grant, a second set of one or more LBT channels based on the status of each LBT channel indicated in the LBT status report.

Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be an IAB node. The apparatus may receive communication from one or more of a parent IAB node or a child IAB node using a first frequency carrier of a paired spectrum comprising the first frequency carrier and a second frequency carrier. The apparatus may transmit communication to the one or more of the parent IAB node or the child IAB node using the second frequency carrier in the paired spectrum. At least one of the first frequency carrier or the second frequency carrier in the paired spectrum carries both uplink and downlink communication.

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to establishing a control connection with at least a first node and a second node for receiving control information for providing a repeater function between two or more wireless nodes. Control information can be communicated over the control connection from one or more of at least the first node or the second node. The repeater can provide, based on the control information, the repeater function between the two or more wireless nodes. Other aspects relate to establishing a control connection with a first node for receiving control information for providing a repeater function for one or more upstream nodes, receiving control information over the control connection, determining a conflict in receiving the control information or a conflict within the control information for two or more upstream nodes, and providing, based on the control information and conflict, the repeater function for the one or more upstream nodes.

Abstract: Method and apparatus to rewrite BAP headers in IAB networks. The apparatus receives, from a second base station, a routing configuration indicating a mapping between a first routing ID and a second routing ID. The apparatus receives a packet with a packet header indicating the first routing ID. The apparatus determines the second routing ID based on the routing configuration mapping the first routing ID in the packet header to the second routing ID. The apparatus modifies, based on a determination of the second routing ID, the packet header to replace the first routing ID with the second routing ID. The apparatus transmits the packet based on the second routing ID.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus of a first network node are provided. The first network node may send quality of service (QoS) information and a request to a second network node to configure, based on the QoS information, a backhaul routing path for traffic between the first network node and a third network node via the second network node, the third network node having a signaling connection with the first network node. The first network node may communicate, with the second network node in response to the request, QoS mapping information. The first network node may configure an Internet protocol (IP) header of an IP packet based on the communicated QoS mapping information. The first network node may send the IP packet with the configured header to the second network node for routing through the backhaul routing path.

PER-CHILD RESOURCE CONFIGURATION ALLOCATION IN AN INTEGRATED ACCESS AND BACKHAUL (IAB) SYSTEM

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to resource allocation in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) system. A central unit (CU) transmits over a backhaul link a message to a distributed unit (DU) including a resource configuration for a DU cell and a child cell corresponding to a child node served by the DU cell. The DU determines that the message misidentifies the child cell using an ID of a different cell. In response to that determination, the DU communicates with the child node based on the resource configuration specific to the misidentified child cell. Using this coordinated technique enables the CU to provide the DU with a child-node specific resource configuration to enable the DU to use this configuration for communicating with the child node. This maximizes efficiency in multi-node communications between one or more child nodes and cells while adding minimal, if any, signaling overhead.
