Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communication. The method generally includes determining one or more target metrics associated with a file having a plurality of packets, the plurality of packets comprising at least one of a plurality of uplink packets or a plurality of downlink packets, determining one or more communication parameters for communicating the plurality of packets according to the one or more target metrics associated with the file, and communicating the plurality of packets with a second network entity in accordance with the determined one or more communication parameters.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described for user equipment (UE) indication of uplink scheduling information to a base station. The uplink scheduling information may provide information on a periodic traffic pattern, such as for periodic extended reality (XR) data flows. The uplink scheduling information may provide uplink assistance information (UAI) to a base station to assist the base station with providing uplink resources that efficiently serve an XR session. The UAI may indicate one or more of a periodicity of uplink traffic, an offset between uplink traffic and a packet arrival, a data size for uplink traffic for each time period associated with the XR session, a request to enable uplink transmission skipping, or any combinations thereof. A base station may provide one or more dynamic grants, configured grants, or proactive grants to a UE based on the uplink scheduling information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide improved repetition techniques for autonomous uplink transmissions. Configuration information may be provided from a base station to a user equipment (UE) for autonomous uplink transmissions, that may indicate initial resources for an initial uplink transmission slot and retransmission resources for a number of retransmissions. Time resources within the retransmission resources may be configured to provide enhanced reliability, such as by being configured in non-contiguous slots to avoid one or more other transmission channels. Time resources within slots may also be configured to prevent persistent collisions with autonomous uplink transmissions or retransmissions of two or more different UEs.

A user equipment (UE) may determine a downlink configuration including a set of resources for receiving downlink transmissions. The UE may determine a grant for performing uplink transmissions based on a radio resource control (RRC) message. The UE may determine, based on the downlink configuration, the grant, or both, an uplink configuration including a set of resources for transmitting the uplink transmissions at a set of uplink transmission occasions. In some aspects, the set of uplink transmission occasions may be arranged according to a non-uniform spacing pattern in a time domain. The UE may transmit, to a base station, one or more uplink transmissions based on the uplink configuration.

In some aspects, a first base station (BS) may detect remote interference, with one or more uplink communications on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) associated with the first BS, caused by propagation of one or more reference signal (RS) communications, transmitted by a second BS, out of a coverage area of the second BS and into a coverage area of the first BS due to reflection of the one or more RS communications. The coverage area of the first BS and the coverage area of the second BS are non-overlapping coverage areas. The first BS may adjust, based at least in part on detecting the remote interference, one or more radio resource allocations of the PUSCH associated with the first BS. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for communicating based on improved signaling. A base station can transmit an indication of resources in time and frequency to a UE allocated for NOMA communication with the UE. The indication of resources can comprise a set of NA-RUs. The UE can then transmit uplink NOMA communication to the base station based on the indication of resources received from the base station. Also, the base station can transmit a compact UL resource grant via DCI, or signal the semi-static transport format configuration via RRC, to the UEs allocated for NOMA communication. The DCI or the payload of RRC signaling can be scrambled with a NOMA group RNTI, as well as comprise NOMA transmission parameters indicated by a MCS table. The UE can then transmit uplink NOMA communication to the base station based on the DCI or the RRC signaling.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An example of a method in accordance with the present disclosure may include a UE identifying that the UE is configured to use a contention-based or uncoordinated (e.g., two-step) random access procedure including an uplink message and a downlink response, where the uplink message includes at least a preamble portion and a data portion. The UE may map an identifier of the UE into a block of source symbols, generate a codeword including a block of coded symbols from the block of source symbols, and generate a set of sequences, where each sequence is based at least in part on a value associated with a corresponding coded symbol of the block of coded symbols. The UE may transmit the generated set of sequences in a preamble portion of the uplink message.
