Abstract: A method and a device for receiving a multicast frame in a wireless LAN are disclosed. The method for receiving a multicast frame in a wireless LAN comprises the steps of: combining, by an STA, an AP on the basis of an initial access frame transmitted by the AP through a primary channel; setting, by the STA, an operating channel as an exclusive multicast channel on a first time resource, wherein the first time resource and the primary channel are indicated on the basis of the initial access frame; receiving, by the STA, the multicast frame from the AP through the exclusive multicast channel on the first time resource; setting, by the STA, the operating channel as the primary channel on a second time resource; and receiving, by the STA, a unicast frame from the AP through the primary channel on the second time resource.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of initiating a RTS/CTS procedure at a STA in a wireless LAN system. According to an embodiment of this invention, the method includes receiving, from an AP, one or more RTS transmission control parameters, determining whether to transmit an RTS frame prior to transmitting a first frame, based on the one or more RTS transmission control parameters; and transmitting at least one of the RTS frame or the first frame, wherein the one or more RTS transmission control parameters includes a transmission power threshold for controlling the RTS frame transmission, and wherein the STA transmits the RTS frame prior to transmitting the first frame when a transmission power of the first frame is less than or equals to the transmission power threshold received from the AP.

Abstract: The present document relates to a wireless communication system and, more particularly, to a method for performing communication using a downlink (DL) oriented channel in a high-density wireless LAN system and an apparatus therefor. A particular station STA1 configured therefor connects with an AP through a normal channel, switches to a downlink oriented channel during an active mode operation, and receives data from the AP through the DL oriented channel. Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for updating system information in a wireless LAN system. A method for updating system information in a station (STA) of a wireless communication system may comprise transmitting, by the STA which stores system information and a configuration change count value of a previously linked preferred access point (AP), a probe request frame for active scanning to the preferred AP; and receiving a probe response frame from the preferred AP. Preferably, the probe request frame includes a configuration change count field previously acquired from the preferred AP, and if a value of the configuration change count field included in the probe request frame is different from a present configuration change count value of the preferred AP, the probe response frame may include one or more elements of system information which should be updated by the STA.
