Abstract: A wireless network including user equipment (UE) and base stations is configured to perform position determination with low latency and high availability within the Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) framework. For example, the UE may be integrated as a sensor in a motion control system or similar applications. The UE and base stations are synchronized with the TSN clock, and are configured to perform positioning measurements at a specific time point within the TSN framework. The time point, for example, may be a global sampling point, at which all sensor nodes in the TSN framework perform position measurements. A location server may be provided with the positioning measurements or a position estimate from the UE and provide the position estimate to an external client, such as a motion controller in a motion control system.

Abstract: Aspects relate to dynamically modifying channel state information (CSI) settings, such as CSI report settings and/or CSI resource settings, utilized by a user equipment (UE) in reporting CSI to a base station. For example, a UE may identify at least one parameter associated with a CSI setting and provide a recommendation to modify the CSI setting based on the at least one parameter to a base station. The recommendation may include, for example, an optimized configuration of the CSI setting or soft output, such as an uncertainty level or confidence level associated with the CSI setting. The base station may then select the optimized CSI setting based on the recommendation and provide the optimized CSI setting to the UE for use in generating and transmitting CSI reports to the base station. Other aspects, features, and embodiments are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sending a configuration for conditional configured grant (CG) occasions for uplink transmission to a user equipment (UE). Each conditional CG occasion may be associated with multiple conditional CG resources. Each conditional CG resource may be associated with a sending window. The UE may monitor within sensing windows for conditional CG resources of a certain conditional CG occasion for over the air (OTA) signals from other UEs to determine if the conditional CG resources are available for uplink transmission. The UE may skip the conditional CG occasion when the conditional CG resources are not available. The UE may perform uplink transmission on the conditional CG resources when the conditional CG resources are available.

Management of spectrum sharing for prioritized and non-prioritized users in wireless communication system

Abstract: Aspects relate to spectrum sharing for use in a wireless communication network that serves both prioritized and non-prioritized user access terminals. In one example, a user access terminal, e.g., a user equipment (UE), senses an amount of signal energy within a frequency band during one or more sensing intervals in response to a determination that the access terminal is a non-prioritized access terminal. If the amount of signal energy does not exceed a sensed energy threshold, the user access terminal transmits wireless signals following the sensing intervals. On the other hand, if the amount of signal energy exceeds the sensed energy threshold, the user access terminal modifies transmissions while the amount of signal energy sensed during one or more subsequent sensing intervals exceeds the sensed energy threshold. For example, the access terminal may delay or adjust transmissions until the amount of signal energy no longer exceeds the sensed energy threshold.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for supporting multiple semi-persistent resource allocations per serving cell. Embodiments include determining an association between one or more semi-persistent resource allocations and one or more identifiers. Embodiments include receiving signaling indicating activation or deactivation of at least one of the one or more semi-persistent resource allocations. Embodiments include determining an identifier of the at least one of the one or more semi-persistent resource allocations based on the association. Embodiments include sending an acknowledgment of the activation or deactivation. The acknowledgment may indicate the identifier of the at least one of the one or more semi-persistent resource allocations.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may detect a collision between a physical uplink control channel and a plurality of physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs) with a corresponding plurality of media access control (MAC) priorities, selectively applying a MAC prioritization rule for processing the plurality of PUSCHs based at least in part on the corresponding plurality of MAC priorities and based at least in part on an effect of the plurality of MAC priorities on an uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing configuration for UCI multiplexing, and selectively transmitting at least one of the plurality of PUSCHs with the UCI based at least in part on a result of selectively applying the MAC prioritization rule. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A user equipment includes a processor configured to: receive a first, second, and third reference signals including a first, second, and third sets of tones, and spanning first, second, and third frequency ranges in first and second sets of symbols and at least one third symbol, respectively, the first and second frequency ranges differing; where at least one of (1) the third frequency range overlaps the first frequency range, or (2) the at least one third symbol overlaps with the first set of symbols and the third frequency range overlaps the second frequency range; determine an offset between the first reference signal and the supplemental signal using the third set of tones; and determine a first indication, of a time and/or a range, based on a combination of the first reference signal and the second reference signal using the offset.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless receiver may receive, from a radio bearer configured to use header compression and at a lower layer of the wireless receiver, a plurality of packets based at least in part on the header compression, wherein the lower layer receives the plurality of packets in an out-of-order sequence. The wireless receiver may deliver, from the lower layer of the wireless receiver to a higher layer of the wireless receiver, the plurality of packets, after header decompression according to the out-of-order sequence, based at least in part on at least one threshold. Numerous other aspects are provided.
