    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling identifying a scheduling configuration indicating a first search space set and a second search space set of a scheduling component carrier for scheduling communications on a scheduled component carrier, and may identify a search space set linking configuration for a group of search space sets of the scheduled component carrier based on the scheduling configuration. The UE may identify a set of decoding candidates within the first and second search space sets which are allocated for cross-carrier scheduling of the scheduled component carrier based on the search space set linking configuration. The UE may then receive at least one control message schedules a communication between the base station and the UE over the scheduled component carrier within at least one decoding candidate, and may perform the scheduled communication over the scheduled component carrier.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described, that provide for configuration and switching between multiple groups of search space sets based on activated serving cells or activated resources for one or more serving cells. An access network entity may configure multiple groups of search space sets, and a user equipment (UE) may monitor for control information in an activated search space set group. A first group of search space sets may be activated based on a serving cell being activated, and the UE may switch to a second group of search space sets when the serving cell is deactivated. Search space set group switching also may be performed based on one or more activated bandwidth parts (BWPs). An access network entity may trigger search space set group switching using explicit signaling, based on cell activation/deactivation, based on a timer, or any combinations thereof.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining rate matching behavior for a plurality of control resource sets (CORESETs) is provided. A base station (BS) bundles a plurality of CORESETs into a global resource set. The BS configures the global resource set for a User Equipment (UE). The BS determines resources assigned to a downlink data channel overlap at least a portion of the global resource set and determines whether data on the downlink data channel is to be rate matched around the global resource set or is to use resources in the global resource set. The BS transmits the data on the downlink data channel based on the determination of the rate matching.

A first user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling comprising an indication of a format for a channel state information report indicating channel state information for a sidelink channel between the first UE and a second UE. The first UE may configure a layer one uplink control message to indicate the channel state information report according to the format. The first UE may transmit, based at least in part on the format, the layer one uplink control message to a base station indicating the channel state information report.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a first transmit receive point (TRP), a downlink control information (DCI) communication, the UE being included in a multi-TRP configuration with the first TRP and a second TRP. The UE may determine information unique to the first TRP. The information unique to the first TRP may be at least one of associated with the DCI communication or included in the DCI communication.     Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) for multiple beam transmissions. In an example, a first CSI-RS triggering state of one or more CSI-RS triggering states indicates a CSI-RS resource set and associated transmission configuration indication (TCI) states. The CSI-RS resource set includes a plurality of CSI-RS resources. Each CSI-RS resource of the plurality of CSI-RS resources is associated with one or more corresponding TCI states as indicated by the first CSI-RS triggering state. A first CSI-RS resource of the plurality of CSI-RS resources is associated with a first plurality of TCI states as indicated by the first CSI-RS triggering state.

A transmitting device may perform a first transmission to one or more receiving devices, the first transmission associated with a transmission type. The transmitting device may determine a feedback response for the first transmission based on monitoring for feedback messages from the one or more receiving devices in response to the first transmission. The transmitting device may select a contention window size for performing one or more subsequent transmissions based at least in part on the feedback response and the transmission type. The transmitting device may perform the one or more subsequent transmissions in accordance with a clear channel assessment procedure using the selected contention window size.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates in first and second search space (SS) sets may be located in a same slot. When both SS sets have the same periodicity and the same offset, the UE may determine that SS sets are linked. The UE may expect the same number of monitoring occasions for each SS set within the slot, and may determine that a monitoring occasion in the first SS set having a first index value is linked with a monitoring occasion in the second SS set that has the same index value. The UE may determine that monitoring occasions for the different SS sets that have the same periodicity but different offsets are located in different slots, and that rules are satisfied such that a first PDCCH repetition is located in an earlier slot than the second PDDCH repetition.
