    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and/or a network entity may support communicating according to a discontinuous communication cycle, such as a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle or a discontinuous transmission (DTX) cycle. A network entity may configure a UE with multiple sets of parameters for one or more types of discontinuous communication cycles, such as by indicating multiple sets of parameters for a first type of discontinuous communication cycle, multiple sets of parameters for a second type of discontinuous communication cycle, or both. The UE and the network entity may communicate according to a first discontinuous communication cycle associated with a first set of the multiple set of parameters. Based on identifying a trigger condition, the UE and the network entity may switch to communicate according to a second discontinuous communication cycle associated with a second set of the multiple set of parameters.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives positioning assistance data including one or more Positioning Reference Signal (PRS) resources, PRS resource sets, and TRPs, and information related to one or more Reflection Objects (ROs), such as Reconfiguration Intelligent Surfaces (RISs). A prioritization of PRS signals and/or ROs for measurement and/or reporting is based at least on the information for the one or more ROs. For example, prioritization may be determined based on whether an RO is reflecting PRS signals that will enhance positioning performance for the UE. Accuracy requirements for positioning or measurement may similarly be determined based at least in part on associate of the RO with PRS resources. Measurement of the PRS signals and/or reporting of the measurements is performed based on the prioritization of the PRS signals and/or ROs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein may enable transmission power control (TPC) for user equipments (UEs) supporting reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs). For example, a first UE may receive a control message indicating multiple parameter sets associated with calculating a transmission power for a transmission. Each parameter set may be associated with a communication link, a presence of one or more RISs, and whether the one or more RISs are assisting the first UE or a second UE. The UE may transmit signaling in accordance with a calculated transmission power based on selecting a first parameter set from the multiple parameter sets, where the first parameter set is selected based on a communication link associated with the transmission, a presence of one or more RISs during the transmission, and whether the one or more RISs are assisting the first UE or the second UE.

    Abstract: Full encryption and reporting of positioning state information (PSI) of a user equipment (UE) in wireless communications may be unable to be performed to a desired level using current security keys at the UE. As such, a UE may selectively perform partial securitization of PSI. A UE obtains one or more PSI to be reported in one or more PSI reports, identifies a security priority associated with each PSI, and generates the one or more PSI reports from the one or more PSI based on a reporting configuration. Generating the one or more PSI reports includes, for each PSI of the one or more PSI, identifying whether the UE is to encrypt the PSI using one or more security keys at the UE based on the reporting configuration. The UE also reports the one or more PSI reports to a second device, such as a base station or another UE.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may be provided with one or more hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier pools that each include one or more HARQ process identifiers. The HARQ process identifier pools may be associated with one or more delay parameters and may be configured to support different delay parameters. Similarly, the HARQ process identifiers included in a HARQ process identifier pool may be configured to support different delay parameters. The UE may prioritize HARQ process identifiers from the one or more HARQ process identifier pools for uplink communications to support delay parameters for the uplink communication.
