    Abstract: Methods and Apparatus are provided for downlink retransmission of Code Block Groups (CBGs) when CBG level ACK and NACK feedback is unreliable. A User Equipment (UE) transmits to a Base Station (BS) feedback indicating an Acknowledgement (ACK) or a Negative Acknowledgement (NACK) corresponding to each of received set of CBGs transmitted by the BS to the UE. The BS receives and decodes the feedback and transmits back to the UE information regarding a result of the decoding. The UE, based on the received information, determines whether the BS correctly received and decoded the ACK/NACK feedback, and in some cases, ACKs and NACKs corresponding to which CBGs were incorrectly decoded by the BS. The UE processes retransmitted CBGs received from the BS based on this determination.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a user equipment (UE) to set uplink power control for a long uplink burst and a short uplink burst. The UE receives uplink power control information including a first set of power control parameters for a long uplink burst and a second set of power control parameters for a short uplink burst with the sets of power control parameters being different from each other. The UE configures uplink power control for the long uplink burst based at least on the first set of power control parameters and the short uplink burst based at least on the second set of power control parameters. The UE sends at least one of a long uplink burst and a short uplink burst based on the corresponding uplink power control and sends at least one uplink power-headroom report for the long uplink burst and short uplink burst.

    Abstract: Techniques are described that provide for generation of a first transport block (TB) that includes a number of code blocks (CBs) that are transmitted to a receiver during a first transmission time interval (TTI) having a first duration, and retransmission of any unsuccessfully received CBs in a second TTI having a duration that is selected from multiple available TTI durations. The second TTI may have a second TTI duration that is shorter than the first TTI duration, and may have CBs only from the first TB. One or more of a time duration or frequency resources of the second TTI may be selected based on the number of CBs that are retransmitted in the second TTI.

    Abstract: Dynamically adaptive numerologies for ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC) are discussed in which a base station may determine performance characteristics for each user equipment (UE) that it serves, in addition to detecting any fluctuations in system loading at the base station. Based on this information, the base may be select for each of the served UEs an adapted numerology that provides an optimized set of configurations that assist the communications between the base station and each UE to meet the strict parameters for URLLC. Once selected, the base station signals the selected adapted numerology to the UEs either through broadcast or UE-specific communications.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a transmitting device, which may explicitly or implicitly signal the use of continuous precoding for a resource block (RB) cluster. For example, the transmitting device may implicitly indicate that continuous precoding is applied to an RB cluster by dynamically controlling one or more parameters of a transmission over those RBs. Further, when continuous precoding is applied to an RB cluster, the transmitting device may explicitly or implicitly signal the dynamic control over one or more transmission properties, with an aim to maximize the benefits of such continuous precoding.     Abstract: Systems and techniques are disclosed to enhance the efficiency of available bandwidth between UEs and base stations. A UE transmits a sounding reference signal to the base station, which characterizes the uplink channel based on the SRS received and, using reciprocity, applies the channel characterization for the downlink channel. The base station may form the beam to the UE based on the uplink channel information obtained from the SRS. As the downlink channel changes the base station needs updated information to maintain its beamforming, meaning it needs a new SRS. Transmission of the SRS takes resources; to minimize this, the UE or the base station can determine a period during which the downlink channel will predictably remain coherent and set up a schedule for sending SRS. Alternatively, the UE or the base station can determine on demand that the channel is losing coherence and initiate an on demand SRS.
