Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects include configuring a user equipment (UE) to receive control signals from a first transmission reception point (TRP) and a second TRP. A first TRP may transmit a control signal to the UE indicating resources for receiving a medium access control element (MAC-CE), where the control signal includes an indication that associates the MAC-CE with the first TRP. The first TRP may transmit the MAC-CE to the UE which may include a beam update indication for the first TRP. The UE may transmit an acknowledgement to the first TRP based on receiving the MAC-CE. The UE may also transmit an acknowledgment to the second TRP indicating that it has received a beam update indication from the first TRP. In some cases, the first TRP may send a MAC-CE signal to the UE including beam update information for the second TRP.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for signaling enhancements. In one aspect, a User Equipment (UE) can receive a configuration to transmit one or more sounding reference signals (SRSs) based on a downlink control information (DCI). The UE can also receive an indication of a plurality of non-contiguous resource blocks (RBs) based on the DCI. The UE can transmit a first SRS on a first set of one or more RBs of the plurality of non-contiguous RBs. Additionally, the UE can transmit a second SRS on a second set of one or more RBs of the plurality of non-contiguous RBs. The first set of one or more RBs and the second set of one or more RBs may be separated by a distance of at least one RB.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for maintaining, between a user equipment (UE) and a component of a base station (BS), a mutual understanding of a set of linked physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates if the UE selects to monitor a subset of the linked PDCCH candidates. In one aspect, the UE may monitor the subset of the linked PDCCH candidates, and the UE and the component of the BS may select a reference PDCCH candidate from which to define scheduling information in accordance with the UE monitoring the subset of the linked PDCCH candidates. In some examples, the UE and the component of the BS may select the reference PDCCH candidate in accordance with one or more mutually understood rules or procedures such that the UE and the component of the BS may select a same reference PDCCH candidate.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a base station to map one or more DMRSs to one or more REs of a slot based on the locations of one or more CRSs in the slot and/or based on whether at least one DMRS overlaps with at least one CRS. Abstract: Providing downlink and uplink processing is disclosed for a cooperative user equipment (UE) operations. A UE participating in the cooperative UE may determine a processing capability associated with each cooperative operational mode of one or more cooperative operation modes of which the UE is capable. The UE sends a cooperative capability report to a serving base station that includes identification of the one or more capable cooperative operation modes and the processing capability of the UE associated with the each cooperative operation mode. The base station may then configure the UEs based on this capability information. The UEs would receive a cooperative mode configuration message from the serving base station with the configuration of a cooperative operation mode for the UE. The UE may then conduct cooperative UE communications using the configured mode according to its associated processing capability. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgement (ACK) feedback codebook enhancements are disclosed. A size of feedback codebook may be reduced explicitly or implicitly. For example, an indicator may be identified by a corresponding field of a downlink control message. In some aspects, the indicator may indicate that multiple Physical Downlink or Uplink Shared Channels (PDSCHs/PUSCHs) are actually scheduled during one or more slots of a window corresponding to the feedback codebook. Responsive to receiving the indicator, a device may refrain from reducing the size of the feedback codebook to exclude acknowledgement feedback for additional possible PDSCH/PUSCH occasions of the slots of the window. In some aspects, a device identifies possible PDSCH/PUSCH occasions that occur outside of one or more Channel Occupancy Times (COTs) of a window. The device may generate a reduced size feedback codebook by excluding the possible PDSCH/PUSCH occasions that occur outside of the COTs of the window.

A device may identify a transport block (TB) size for a TB that is scheduled across a set of component carriers (CCs) including a first CC and a second CC. The TB may include a first code block (CB) and a second CB. The device may rate match the TB with the set of CCs. Based on the rate matching, the device may identify redundancy portions of the first CB and redundancy portions of the second CB. The device may allocate a first redundancy portion of the first CB and a first redundancy portion of the second CB to the first CC, and may allocate a second redundancy portion of the first CB and a second redundancy portion of the second CB to the second CC. The device may transmit the TB over the set of CCs based on the allocating.
