The UE may receive, from the base station, an indication of a TCI state indication mode of the multiple TCI state indication modes. The UE may communicate with the base station using a beam direction associated with a TCI state in the TCI state indication mode based at least in part on the shared TCI state configuration information. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to receive a message including transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states information associated with beam information for uplink or downlink resources. The UE may identify multiple channels or reference signals, or both, to which a TCI state is to be applied based on associated indications included with the TCI state information. In some examples, the TCI state information may also include indications of source reference signals for quasi co-location (QCL) assumptions for the indicated channels or reference signals. Based on applying the TCI state, the UE may determine beam information for uplink or downlink resources and may communicate with the base station accordingly.

Some wireless communications systems may support a user equipment (UE) receiving, from a network entity, control information that schedules the UE to transmit a set of channel state information (CSI) reports during overlapping windows of time, based on measurements of respective sets of reference signals. The UE may transmit, to the network entity and during the overlapping windows of time, a prioritized CSI report from the set of CSI reports in accordance with a priority rule. The priority rule may define respective priorities for each CSI report of the set of CSI reports. The respective priorities may be based on the respective sets of reference signals being associated with a serving cell for the UE, one or more candidate serving cells for the UE, or both.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for beamforming in wireless communications. Some implementations more specifically relate to beamforming configurations for multicast communications. A transmitting device may transmit multicast data to multiple receiving devices, concurrently, via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The PDSCH may be preceded by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The PDCCH may provide scheduling information for the PDSCH, including a multicast beam associated with the PDSCH and a timing offset or delay between the PDCCH and the PDSCH. A receiving device may determine that the PDSCH contains multicast data based on an indication in the PDCCH. To receive the PDSCH, each receiving device may tune its antennas in a direction of the scheduled multicast beam or a default beam based on the delay between the PDCCH and the PDSCH.
