Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may receive mobility state information associated with an integrated access backhaul (IAB) node. The mobility state information may include information associated with at least one of: a level of mobility of the IAB node, or a change in mobility of the IAB node. The wireless communication device may perform an operation based at least in part on the mobility state information associated with the IAB node. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may determine that mobility state information associated with an IAB node is to be transmitted, and may transmit the mobility state information associated with the IAB node based at least in part on the determination. Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques of allocating time resources (or slots) based on a flexible pattern that allows allocation of a set of non-continuous time slots resources in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) system. In one example, the aggregation pattern may be indicated via a single downlink control information (DCI) message that carries explicit information regarding non-continuous time slot allocation. Features of the present disclosure may also include techniques to allow for early termination of transmission between the first node and the second node when the receiver (e.g., second node) successfully receives the data channel before the end of aggregated transmission. In such situation, the first node and the second node may cease transmission after reception of an acknowledgement (ACK) message that may allow the second node to utilize the subsequent time slots for communication with its own children on the next hop (e.g., third node).

Abstract: A first RAN may determine beamforming information for a UE served by the first RAN. Then, the first RAN may transmit, to a second RAN or a core network, paging information for the UE served by the first RAN, wherein the paging information comprises the beamforming information for the UE. A core network component, e.g., an AMF, may receive the paging information comprising the beamforming information for the UE and may send a paging request to a second RAN for the transmission of a paging message to the UE, wherein the paging request is based on the received paging information. The second RAN may receive, from the first RAN or from the core network, paging information for the UE comprising beamforming assistance information for the UE. The second RAN may then transmit a paging message to the UE based on the beamforming assistance information.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for scheduling UEs in a wireless cell. The method generally includes determining one or more characteristics of communications on a first cell for a first type of user equipments (UEs) and a second type of UEs. A cell determines a first set of resources for the first type of UEs and a second set of resources for the second type of UEs based, at least in part, on the determined one or more characteristics and a resource bias parameter. The cell assigns the first set of resources for communications between the first cell and the first type of UEs and the second set of resources for communications between the first cell and the second type of UEs.
