摘要: Systems for mapping a stage include a lighting fixture, a scanner, and a controller. The lighting fixture is configured to at least partially illuminate the stage with structured light. The scanner is configured to detect the structured light on the stage. The controller is connected to the lighting fixture and the scanner. The controller is configured to control the lighting fixture to illuminate a portion of the stage with the structured light, control the scanner to scan the structured light on the portion of the stage, receive a signal from the scanner as scan data, and translate the scan data into three-dimensional location data.

摘要: A design software, e.g., a graphical user interface (GUI) software, may be used to design and/or configure a load control system. The design software may be executed on a network device (e.g., a personal computer, a laptop, a tablet, or a smart phone). The design software may allow for easy configuration of load control panels and effortless multiplication of configured panels during the design of the load control system. Each load control panel may have a plurality of control devices, such as load control devices (e.g., power modules, dimming modules, and/or switching modules), system controllers, and/or power supplies. The design software may allow for the configuration of load control panels having different types and numbers of control devices. In addition, the design software may allow for the multiplication of load control panels having the same configuration (e.g., the same type and number of control devices).

摘要: A self-adjusting luminaire whose primary operation is to provide ambient or focused lighting in a hazardous environment is configured to modify (e.g., continuously) the energization intensity levels of its on-board illumination sources based on magnitudes of difference between an amount of light in the environment of the luminaire (e.g., including both light produced by the luminaire and ambient light) as measured by on-board sensors and a setpoint amount of light corresponding to the luminaire. Further, the self-adjusting luminaire may detect that its on-board sensors are malfunctioning when the illumination sensors fail to sense a change in the amount of light in the environment of the luminaire after the luminaire has modified the energization intensity levels of its illumination sources. Upon detecting a sensor malfunction, the self-adjusting luminaire may generate an alarm, and/or may automatically modify the intensity of its illumination sources to mitigate effects of the detected malfunction.

摘要: A camera-based sensor device (200) and method for use in a controllable lighting system (100). The camera-based sensor device (200) comprises: a communications interface (203); a camera (201) for capturing images of a scene, each image comprising an array of pixels; and a processor (202). The processor (202) is configured to determine at least one light performance indicator, LPI, from an image captured by the camera (201). The LPI is a combined metric derived from a plurality of pixels of the array of pixels in the image. The processor (202) is configured to transmit, via the communications interface (203), the determined at least one LPI to the controllable lighting system (100) for use by the controllable lighting system (100) to make a control decision based on the LPI. The processor (202) does not transmit any of the images of the scene.

摘要: A control device may comprise a plurality of buttons, a plurality of light sources located behind the respective buttons and configured to illuminate the buttons, a light detector circuit configured to measure an ambient light level around the control device, and/or a control circuit configured to control the light sources to adjust surface illumination intensities of the respective buttons in response to the measured ambient light level. Each button may comprise indicia indicating a function of the button. The control circuit set the first button as active and the second button as inactive in response to an actuation of the first button. The control circuit may, based on the measured ambient light level, control the light sources to illuminate the first button to an active surface illumination intensity, and to illuminate the second button to an inactive surface illumination intensity that is less than the active surface illumination intensity.

摘要: A control device configured for use in a load control system to control an external electrical load may provide simple feedback regarding the operation of the control device. For example, the control device may comprise a base portion configured to be mounted to an electrical wallbox or over a mechanical switch, and a control unit connected to the base portion. The control unit may comprise a rotation portion rotatable with respect to the base portion, an actuation portion, and a light source. The control unit may be configured to control the light source to illuminate at least an illuminated portion of the actuation portion in response to actuations of the rotation portion and the actuation portion. In addition, the control unit may provide a limit indication on the illuminated portion by blinking the illuminated portion when the electrical load has reached a limit.

摘要: Control-source devices may be associated with control-target devices of a load control system during a configuration procedure, such that the control-target devices are responsive to the associated control-source devices during normal operation. The configuration procedure may be executed using a network device having a visual display for associating the control-source devices and control-target devices. The control-source devices may be associated with the control-target devices on an area-by-area basis using an area configuration procedure. The control-target devices may be configured to flash a controlled lighting load according to a flashing profile during the configuration procedure. The flashing profile may be characterized by at least one abrupt transition between off and on, and at least one gradual transition between off and on, where the abrupt and gradual transitions are repeated on a periodic basis.
