    Abstract: Systems and methods for manufacturing a battery are disclosed. One system may include: a first cutter configured to cut a first electrode sheet into a first electrode portion; a second cutter configured to cut a second electrode sheet into a second electrode portion having a second length; a winder configured to form an electrode assembly by winding the first electrode portion, the second electrode portion, a separator between the first electrode portion and the second electrode portion; and an identification information assigning device configured to assign identification information to the electrode assembly based on: a cut count value of the first electrode sheet and/or a cut count value of the second electrode sheet; and/or a position coordinate value of the first electrode sheet and/or a position coordinate value of the second electrode sheet.

    Abstract: A rolling apparatus includes a transportation device transporting an electrode sheet along a predefined transportation path; a pair of press rolls located on the transportation path and pressing an active material layer of the electrode sheet; and a correction roll located upstream or downstream with respect to the pair of press rolls. The correction roll includes at least one short-diameter portion each provided at a position corresponding to the active material layer in the width direction of the electrode sheet, and a plurality of long-diameter portions each having an outer diameter longer than an outer diameter of the short-diameter portion, non-formation portions of the electrode sheet being respectively wound along the plurality of long-diameter portions. The plurality of long-diameter portions includes a first long-diameter portion, and a second long-diameter portion, the outer diameter of which is longer than the outer diameter of the first long-diameter portion.

    Abstract: A battery and an electronic device. The battery includes a battery cell, a housing, an insulating member and a connecting sheet, where the housing is provided with an accommodating cavity, and the battery cell is disposed in the accommodating cavity; a side wall of the housing is provided with a notch, the insulating member is mounted at the notch, and the insulating member is provided with a mounting hole; the connecting sheet is disposed on the insulating member and is provided with a protruding part, the protruding part penetrates through the mounting hole and extends to inside of the housing, and the protruding part is electrically connected with a tab assembly of the battery cell. The electronic device includes the battery. Capacity density of the battery is improved without changing the size of the battery.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing an electrode assembly by stacking two or more unit cells with a second separator interposed therebetween, the unit cells each having a positive electrode, a first separator, and a negative electrode that are sequentially stacked, the method includes: inspecting an aligned state of the positive and negative electrodes included in a lower unit cell disposed below the corresponding unit cell before the unit cell is stacked; and correcting a stacked position of the unit cell to be stacked when the inspection result indicates that the aligned state has a defect.
