Abstract: A method for franking packages individually supplied from a stack on a conveyor line to a franking machine, such as envelopes, mailing bags, sleeves, cards, labels, printed products, or the like, which are removed at the lower side of the stack for separation and which are supplied on the upstream conveyor line to a printing mechanism of the franking machine and which, after printing of the packages, are discharged from the franking machine. The packages are supplied on the conveyor portion via a switch to the franking machine and after printing are supplied counter to the supply direction from the printing mechanism of the franking machine via the transposed switch of a depositing device which is provided therebelow for printed packages.

Abstract: A sheet post-processor includes a processing tray, a sheet discharge port, a discharge roller pair, a pair of cursor members, a pair of support members, and an interlocking mechanism. The interlocking mechanism includes a pair of coupling members arranged in the processing tray so as to be reciprocatable in a sheet width direction. The pair of coupling members are coupled to or decoupled from the pair of cursor members in accordance with movement of the pair of cursor members. While being coupled to the pair of cursor members, the pair of coupling members contact the pair of support members so as to displace the pair of support members to a protruding position, and while being decoupled from the pair of cursor members, the pair of coupling members separate from the pair of support members so as to displace the pair of support members to a retracted position.

Abstract: A sheet discharge device includes a discharge member and a control part. Abstract: A sheet conveying device includes a sheet conveying passage, an upper conveying guide provided in the sheet conveying passage and facing the upper surface of a sheet, a lower conveying guide facing the lower surface of the sheet, a conveying member conveying the sheet along the sheet conveying passage, a sheet stack tray arranged above the upper conveying guide. The sheet stack tray has a movable part making contact with the upper conveying guide at least when it swings, and the movable part is movable between a sheet receiving position where it forms a sheet stack surface and a retracted position where it has swung upward from the sheet receiving position.

Abstract: A flange portion extending outward from a main shaft portion is disposed outside a side plate with respect to a position of an attachment member in a main direction when the attachment member is mounted to the side plate.
