Abstract: The present disclosure describes formulations and methods for agricultural production. The formulations comprise an active agricultural compound, a polymer, a dispersant and/or a wetting agent, and water, wherein the active is selected from the group consisting of fungicides, insecticides, nematicides, herbicides, safeners, growth regulators, and combinations thereof. The polymer is a polyelectrolyte comprising hydrophobic and hydrophilic monomers, such as, styrene, methacrylic acid, 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid and ethyl acrylate. The formulations described herein have reduced, inhibited and/or mitigated crystallization of the active compounds.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are bait formulations for attracting and controlling pest insects such as ants. The bait compositions include a specific ratio of lipids and protein sources that are effective in both discovery and recruitment and are superior to current commercial ant bait formulations as they are effective throughout the different seasons and against diverse species of ants. The ant bait compositions may be combined with an insecticide to reduce or eliminate ant populations. Methods for making and using the compositions are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for preparing a ratiometric fluorescent probe for cymoxanil based on a double-emission quantum dot-silver nanoparticle complex, wherein, the double-emission carbon quantum dots and the silver nanoparticles are prepared, and the inner filter effect occurring between the double-emission carbon quantum dots and the dispersed silver nanoparticles causes the blue fluorescence quenching of the carbon quantum dots. However, the specific binding of cymoxanil to silver nanoparticles causes the silver nanoparticles to accumulate, and then the inner filter effect occurring between the double-emission carbon quantum dots and the dispersed silver nanoparticles causes the green fluorescence quenching of carbon quantum dots. In this regard, the linear relationship between the intensity ratio of two fluorescent emission peaks of carbon quantum dots and the molar concentration of cymoxanil is established, and the ratiometric fluorescent probe for cymoxanil is constructed.

The invention relates further to methods and use of these mixtures for combating and controlling insects, arachnids or nematodes in and on plants, and for protecting such plants being infested with pests, especially also for protecting plant proparagation material, such as seeds.-
