摘要: A musical instrument protection system includes a plurality of pad devices each having any shape, a body including an adhesive side, a contact side, and a thickness. The pad device is defined by the adhesive side and the contact side, separated by the thickness which can be any color or design. The contact side may be in contact with a hand of a user during an in-use installed condition, and the adhesive side is configured to be adhered to an outer surface of a musical instrument such that it provides a protective barrier for protecting finished outer surfaces, preserving and sometimes enhancing the acoustics of the musical instrument.

摘要: The present invention provides a wind instrument trumpet and its manufacturing and molding methods. The wind instrument trumpet of the present invention adopts polymeric material with integrated molding process, reducing trumpet spare part quantities and optimizing spare part structure. Moreover, the wind instrument trumpet of the present invention has a lighter overall structure and purer tone quality by applying integrated molding process to the piston outer pipe of tuning component. The present invention greatly decreases the quantity of spare parts, improves assembly accuracy and efficiency, reasonably controls the accuracy of a single spare part while improving the matching accuracy considerably, ensures the movement direction of keys more effectively through the coordination with the piston outer tubes so that the keys are smoother compared to the traditional ones.

摘要: A leadpipe for a musical instrument comprising: a sidewall defining an enclosed channel, the sidewall having an upstream end and a downstream end; wherein the sidewall is comprised of a plurality of sections including a first tapered section and at least one subsequent tapered section; wherein each of the sections extends longitudinally between the upstream end and the downstream end of the sidewall; wherein the first tapered section is disposed upstream of the at least one subsequent tapered sections; wherein the first tapered section and at least one subsequent tapered section of the sidewall each define a generally frustoconical cavity having an upstream inner diameter Df and a downstream inner diameter Ds; and wherein the downstream diameter of each of the tapered sections that defines a generally frustoconical cavity is larger than the upstream diameter. The leadpipe may produce greater intensity of overtones and improved sound quality.

摘要: A protective system includes a protective multi-layered body portion for protecting an instrument from debris, wind, temperature extremes, and visual observation. The body portion encapsulates the instrument fully assembled, so that a user has to remove the cover to utilize the instrument. The body portion minimizes contact with instrument. The body portion includes multiple layers. Each layer provides a unique, novel function for protection of the instrument. An inner layer engages the instrument. An intermediate layer contours to the shape of the instrument and provides insulation. An exterior layer forms the exterior protective surface and includes a pouch and a handle. Outside the body portion, a fastener regulates access to the inside. Inside the body portion, an instrument enhancing device, such as silica packs help protect the instrument. At least one wire carries a current along the body portion to provide heat for the instrument from an external source.

摘要: A key mechanism for a saxophone includes a lever, a sound-hole cover, an adjustment member, and a touch piece. The lever includes a connecting portion in which being formed a rotation-stop hole, and a slot in communication with and perpendicular to the rotation-stop hole. The adjustment member is rotatably and partially disposed in the slot and has a threaded hole in communication with the rotation-stop hole. The touch piece includes a press portion, a rotation-stop portion and a screw. The rotation-stop portion is engaged in the rotation-shaped hole, and the screw is screwed in the threaded hole of the adjustment member, so that rotating the adjustment member causes the screw to linearly move with respect to the adjustment member. Therefore, the height position of touch piece of the saxophone can be adjusted without using any hand tools.

摘要: A wind instrument training device is provided having a housing with a mouthpiece opening in one end and an air exit opening in an opposite end. The device also has two sliding members movable within the housing, each having an air passage and each extending through opposite side openings in the housing. The sliding members are connectable to each other by a biasing means. When the training device is inserted in a wind player's mouth with the sliding members placed against the sides of the player's mouth, air blown from the player's mouth is prevented from flowing through the device. When the wind player tightens muscles against the sliding members, the sliding members move inward and air blown from the player's mouth flows through the mouthpiece opening, the air passages, and the air exit opening.

The musical instrument stand further preferably includes an over center latch assembly interposed between and communicating with the pair of legs, the over center latch maintains a predetermined separation between said first and second legs when the over center latch assembly is in a locked position, and nests within the pair of legs when the pair of legs are disposed within a leg retention channel.
