Abstract: An Internet of Things Controller, and related tools. The tools address application development and deployment. An Application Meta-Data Editor permits a developer to specify meta-data, that guides the structure of actual data, that can be passed to the application, when invoked as a particular execution (or task) for a particular end-user. Once an application is developed, and has undergone a test deployment, the developer can upload the application to an online Application Store, from which the application can be downloaded and deployed by others. A Data Editor permits an end-user to create his/her own data, in accordance with the developer's meta-data, that adapts the execution to his/her particular needs. While permitting adaptation, the Data Editor ensures that the data created follows the overall pattern of the meta-data, as provided by the developer. Facilities for internationalization of a deployed application's documentation, on a crowd-sourced basis, are also provided.

Abstract: Determining correct base container images to support custom container images is provided. A comparison between layers of a base container image corresponding to a current version of an operand and layers of a custom container image built by a user is performed using an operator. It is determined whether the user utilized a correct base container image to build the custom container image based on the comparison between the layers of the base container image corresponding to the current version of the operand and the layers of the custom container image built by the user. A runtime is generated in a cluster of host nodes to provide a service based on the custom container image in response to determining that the user utilized the correct base container image to build the custom container image.

Abstract: Systems and methods relate to an ambulatory medicament device that can generate a dose control signal to cause a medicament pump to infuse medicament into a subject. The system can analyze status to determine whether an alarm condition for the ambulatory medicament device or for a subject is already present in a list of pending alarm conditions. If the alarm is not present, the system can determine a severity level of the alarm condition from among a plurality of severity levels and annunciate the alarm condition using one or more annunciation patterns selected based on the severity level of the alarm condition for the medicament device or for the subject. The system may maintain an indication of the alarm condition on the list of pending alarm conditions until the alarm condition is resolved.

Abstract: Disclosed are various examples of provisioning a data processing unit (DPU) management operating system (OS). A management hypervisor installer executed on a host device launches or causes a server component to provide a management operating system (OS) installer image at a particular URI accessible over a network internal to the host device. A baseboard management controller (BMC) transfers the DPU management OS installer image to the DPU device. A volatile memory based virtual disk is created using the DPU management OS installer image. The DPU device is booted to a DPU management OS installer on the volatile memory based virtual disk. The DPU management OS installer installs a DPU management operating system to a nonvolatile memory of the DPU device on reboot of the DPU device.
