摘要: A low-temperature regenerative type moisture absorbing element of fast moisture absorbing and releasing speed, capable of regenerating at 110.degree. C. or less and having a sufficiently high moisture absorbing and releasing performance in spite of small size is provided. A low-temperature regenerative type moisture absorbing element is mainly composed of high moisture absorbing and releasing polymeric compound with the content of salt type carboxyl group adjusted to a specific amount, and further comprises plural gas passages, of which regeneration temperature is 110.degree. C. or less. It is hence possible to provide a moisture absorbing element of small size, high efficiency, and energy-saving type, being excellent in moisture absorbing and releasing performance, and easily capable of removing absorbed moisture at low temperature which was impossible with the conventional moisture absorbing element. It can be applied not only in industrial and commercial uses, but also in household dehumidifying and drying applications, and may be employed in dehumidifying and drying applications of various gases.

摘要: Methods and systems for making an absorbent pad for use in an absorbent article utilize a forming device for forming material into an absorbent core, a supply device for supplying a containment layer against the first surface of the absorbent core and spray apparatus for spraying fibers of molten resin onto the second surface of the absorbent core. The fibers form a stabilization layer on the absorbent core that increases the integrity of the absorbent core. The spray apparatus includes a nozzle having a resin aperture for exhausting resin therefrom and multiple gas apertures for exhausting gas therefrom to provide a random pattern to the fibers of molten resin as the fibers are sprayed onto the second surface. Resin can also be sprayed onto first and second portions of the containment layer extending outwardly from edges of the absorbent core so the containment layer and the stabilization layer encompass the absorbent core. In another embodiment, a second containment layer can be placed on the second surface of the absorbent core and first and second stabilization layers can be spaced outwardly therefrom and deposited on the absorbent core.

摘要: Processes for the formation of flocked automotive molding members of the type adapted to border windshield and door windows are disclosed. The processes include coextrusion of a thermoplastic polymer and reactive hot melt adhesive in a common die orifice or head onto a profiled metal strip. The hot melt provides an adhesive layer for subsequent flock adherence to the thermoplastic polymer. The hot melt is moisture curable, thereby eliminating need for a curing oven or the like downstream from the flocking station.

摘要: A production method for a glass run of EPDM material with a urethane slip layer and/or a flocked layer on its glass sliding area, whereby a primer layer for a urethane slip layer or a flocked layer can be co-extruded together with a glass run substrate of EPDM material. The primer layer is a polymer blend of NBR 40-80%, EPDM 20-60% and SBR 0-35% by weight, respectively. Solventless urethane coating material is applied on each primer layer to form a urethane coat. Flocking is provided only on flocked layer area. The urethane coat is cured during vulcanization of the glass run substrate, and in this way a urethane slip layer and a flocking layer can be formed.

摘要: A method of bonding semiconductor chips to a mounting surface and a nozzle for same includes the steps of applying a first deposit of a die attach adhesive material to the mounting surface in a manner wherein the first deposit has the general shape of a starfish. This starfish shape is characterized by a raised central portion disposed at the intersection of the radially inner ends of a plurality of centrally thickened arms. The next step is to apply the bonding surface of a semiconductor chip against the deposit to cause the deposit to spread therebeneath while removing air pockets and hence any voids within the die attach adhesive material. The volume of the deposit being proportional to the surface area of the bonding surface and the configuration of the first deposit being defined to cause uniform and symmetrical spreading of the first deposite across the bonding surface provides full coverage of the bonding surface with a uniformly thick layer of adhesive. A die attach dispensing tool or nozzle includes a bottom shape including recessed portions whereby when the bottom of the tool is disposed in confronting relation to a mounting surface a flow passage carrying die attach adhesive material can be employed to fill the recessed portions and thereby define a deposit of die attach material in the general shape of a starfish.
