摘要: An antenna system includes an antenna body having one or more connection points between the antenna body and a ground; a tunable component having a changeable operating parameter that is a capacitance or a inductance, wherein the antenna body is connected to the tunable component through a first connection point; and a first filter, wherein the first filter are connected to the antenna body; wherein the first filter is connected in parallel with the tunable component, wherein a first end of the first filter is connected to the antenna body through the first connection point, and a second end of the first filter is connected to the ground, and wherein the first filter presents a high impedance characteristic in a low frequency band, and presents a low impedance characteristic in a high frequency band.

摘要: An electronic device may be provided with peripheral conductive housing structures, a first antenna, and a second antenna. A gap may divide the housing structures into a first segment forming an arm of the first antenna and a second segment forming an arm of the second antenna. A first feed terminal may be coupled to the first segment and a second feed terminal may be coupled to the second segment. Switchable components may be coupled in parallel between the first and second feed terminals across the gap. The switchable components may be adjusted to tune the frequency response of the first and/or second antenna. The switchable components may have a first state in which only the first feed terminal feeds the first antenna and may have a second state in which both the first and second feed terminals feed the first antenna.

摘要: An electronic device may be provided with an antenna having a resonating element formed from a segment of peripheral conductive housing structures. A speaker may be aligned with first openings in the segment. A vent may be aligned with second openings in the segment. A connector may protrude through the segment. A trace combiner for the antenna may be patterned onto the speaker and may be coupled to the segment. Tuners for the antenna may be disposed on first and second flexible printed circuits that extend along opposing sides of the connector. The tuners may be controlled through the speaker. The second flexible printed circuit may extend along the vent. The vent may have a vent cowling with a cut-out region next to the tuner on the second flexible printed circuit.

摘要: An antenna module includes a dielectric substrate, radiating circuits disposed on the dielectric substrate, a ground electrode, and a dielectric layer. In a plan view in a direction of a normal line of the dielectric substrate, the radiating circuit is disposed adjacent to the radiating circuit. The ground electrode is disposed to face the radiating circuit and the radiating circuit. The dielectric layer is disposed to cover the radiating circuit. The radiating circuit is capable of emitting an electric wave in a frequency band higher than that for the radiating circuit. A dielectric constant of the dielectric layer is higher than a dielectric constant of the dielectric substrate. A distance between the radiating circuit and the ground electrode is shorter than a distance between the radiating circuit and the ground electrode.

The metal body has a same potential as the main plate. The metal body has a longer length (greater height) than the patch portion in a Z direction.

摘要: Devices and methods for implementing MIMO in metal ring structures using tunable electrically small antennas. In some embodiments, the metal ring structure includes a mobile device including electrically small antennas arranged on it, tunable band-stop circuits, wherein each of the electrically small antennas has a largest dimension that is substantially equal to or less than one-tenth of a length of a wavelength corresponding to a frequency within a communications operating frequency band. In some embodiments, the tunable electrically small antennas utilize parts of the metal ring structure of the mobile device as antenna radiators. The TESA are tunable for low-band frequencies between about 600 MHz-960 MHz. Additionally, the TESA have a wide bandwidth in high-band between about 1700 MHz-2700 MHz. In order to separate the TESA radiators from the rest of the metal ring structure, the radiators are connected by insulating material.
