Primary, secondary and auxiliary fuel circuits receive fuel from the scheduling valve, and an electrically-controlled valve is provided in fluid communication with the auxiliary circuit, which electrically-controlled valve is adapted and configured to actively control fuel through the auxiliary circuit in response to a control signal.

摘要: Methods and systems for supply of fuel for a turbine-driven fracturing pump system used in hydraulic fracturing may be configured to identify when the supply pressure of primary fuel to a plurality of gas turbine engines of a plurality of hydraulic fracturing units falls below a set point, identify a gas turbine engine of the fleet of hydraulic fracturing units operating on primary fuel with highest amount of secondary fuel available, and to selectively transfer the gas turbine engine operating on primary fuel with the highest amount of secondary fuel from primary fuel operation to secondary fuel operation. Some methods and systems may be configured to transfer all gas turbine engines to secondary fuel operation and individually and/or sequentially restore operation to primary fuel operation and/or to manage primary fuel operation and/or secondary fuel operation for portions of the plurality of gas turbine engines.

摘要: A dual-fuel turbine engine is a type of turbine engine that can operate using two different fuel sources, such as liquid fuel (e.g., diesel) and natural gas. For liquid fuels, the turbine engine includes a primary line to facilitate engine startup and a secondary line to modify power output. Generally, the turbine engine only uses one type of fuel for combustion at a time. The fuel lines and passages in the fuel nozzles that carry the unused fuel source should preferably be purged and sealed by a purging system to reduce coking. However, conventional purge systems typically purge and seal only the secondary line for liquid fuels. As a result, the passages in the fuel nozzles connected to the primary line are prone to coking. To address this problem, a purge system is disclosed that purges and seals the primary line and, optionally, the secondary line.

摘要: Embodiments of a flow system are provided. The flow system includes a flow source device configured to receive fluid from a first flow line and output fluid on a second flow line. An output is in fluid communication with the flow source device on the second flow line. An actuation system is in fluid communication with the second flow line through a third flow line. A flow meter measures a flow rate in the second flow line without bypassing any fluid to the first flow line. A controller is in communication with the flow source device and the flow meter. The controller adjusts the flow source device to achieve a desired flow rate at the output based on a condition of the flow source device and the flow rate measured by the flow meter.

摘要: Embodiments of systems and methods for air recovery are disclosed. The diverted pressurized air may be used to supply a hydrostatic purge to the unutilized portion of a turbine engine fuel manifold circuit to ensure that exhaust gases from the utilized side of the fuel manifold circuit do not enter the portion of the alternative fuel manifold circuit rack. The assembly used to remove compressor section pressurized air may include a flow control orifice, line pressure measuring instrumentation, non-return valves, isolation valves and hard stainless-steel tubing assemblies. In some embodiments, a turbine compressor section diverter system may include a small air receiver used to increase the volume of air supplying the manifold to aid in potential pressure and flow disruptions from a turbine engine compressor section.

摘要: A liquid fuel injector includes a cylindrical primary fuel injecting body having a central axis; an annular shroud concentrically placed radially outside; and an annular secondary fuel injecting body placed concentrically with the primary fuel injecting body and the shroud between the primary fuel injecting body and the shroud. A plurality of inner swirlers placed at equal intervals in a circumferential direction are provided in an annular inner air passage formed between the primary fuel injecting body and the secondary fuel injecting body, and a plurality of outer swirlers placed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction are provided in an annular outer air passage formed between the secondary fuel injecting body and the shroud. The primary fuel injecting body is formed as a pressure spray-type injector, and the secondary fuel injecting body and the inner and outer air passages cooperatively constitute an airblast-type injector.
