    摘要: A nozzle inhibitor is adapted to be arranged in a filler neck included in a fuel-tank fill tube and is configured to allow only a diesel fuel nozzle having an outer diameter that is greater than a specified minimum diameter to be inserted into the fill tube to a depth sufficient so that a user may dispense diesel fuel from that nozzle into the fill tube. The nozzle inhibitor inhibits insertion of a small-diameter unleaded fuel nozzle into the fill tube, yet allows insertion of a relatively larger diameter diesel fuel nozzle into the fill tube so that only diesel fuel is dispensed into a diesel fuel tank coupled to the fill tube.

    摘要: A fueling device comprises a resin passage-forming member configured to form a fuel path, a fuel path end member and a covering member. A resin sealing member constituting the fuel path end member is located on a filler port side of the fuel path and is welded to the passage-forming member about an axis of the fuel path to provide a seal against the passage-forming member by welding about the axis. The covering member is arranged to cover a welded part about the axis at which the sealing member is welded to the passage-forming member from outside of the fuel path with leaving a gap about the axis, which is formed between the welded part and the covering member and is divided into a plurality of sections. The covering member is protruded from an outer peripheral wall of the passage-forming member and is supported by the outer peripheral wall such as to form the gap. The covering member is linked with the outer peripheral wall of the passage-forming member by linkage sections formed between adjacent sections of the gap divided into the plurality of sections. This configuration suppresses deformation of a welded part between a pipe main body and an inner member by an external force.

In one example, the system may include a threaded hollow shaft having a top end able to receive a nozzle of a leak detection machine, the hollow shaft inserted through a mouth of a filler pipe of a fuel tank, a gasket arranged on the hollow shaft, and an end cylinder having an elastic piece on the hollow shaft configured to create an airtight seal with the fuel mouth. In this way, the adaptor may restrict gas flow through a defined flow path through the adaptor, and not through any other flow paths during leak detection testing.

    摘要: A fueling device comprises a filler neck that is configured to form a fuel flow path, a cover member, and a restraint portion. An engagement projection provided as an engagement portion of the cover member is engaged with an engaged recess provided as an engaged portion of the filler neck, so that the cover member is mounted to the filler neck on an opening side of the fuel flow path. The restraint portion is configured to restrain the cover member including an engagement extension portion downstream of the engagement projection in the fuel flow path to an outer circumferential wall of the filler neck. This configuration suppresses expansion and deformation of the cover member and avoids separation of the cover member from the filler neck, while maintaining the mounting property of the cover member.

    摘要: A fuel intake assembly includes a housing, a nozzle inlet door, a nozzle outlet door, and an outlet door-engaging link. The housing defines an internal chamber. A nozzle passage channel extends through the internal chamber. The nozzle inlet and outlet doors are moveably secured within the housing and are both configured to move between open and closed positions. The outlet door-engaging link may be moveably secured to the nozzle inlet door. Movement of the nozzle inlet door toward the open position causes the outlet door-engaging link to engage the nozzle outlet door so that a fluid passage is formed between at least a portion of the nozzle outlet door and an internal surface of the housing.
