摘要: An imaging system may include a plurality of networked imagers arranged in a geometric arrangement with respective fields of view covering part or all of a panoramic geometry, at least one inertial measurement unit (IMU) in communication with the networked imagers configured to generate orientation data indicating orientations of the plurality of networked imagers, and at least one processor in communication with the networked imagers and the at least one IMU. The at least one processor may be configured to receive a plurality of images from the plurality of networked imagers and combine the plurality of images into at least one combined image by positioning pixels of each of the plurality of images relative to pixels of the remaining plurality of images, associating the positioned pixels with the orientation data, and merging the oriented pixels of each of the plurality of images into the at least one combined image.

摘要: A method is provided for a system including a plurality of remote sensor apparatus and a portable receiver. The portable receiver includes an RFID reader. The remote sensor apparatus has an RFID unit. The method includes reading RFID stored in the RFID unit of one or more of the plurality of remote sensor apparatus using the RFID reader. The method also includes registering the one or more of the plurality of remote sensor apparatus using the received RFID. The method further includes receiving data from a first active remote sensor apparatus. The data includes sensor data collected from sensors installed in the first active remote sensor and RFID of the first active remote sensor apparatus. The method also includes processing the sensor data, if the RFID of the first active remote sensor apparatus matches the RFID of any of the one or more of the plurality of remote sensor apparatus.

摘要: At least one combined image may be created from a plurality of images captured by a plurality of cameras. A sensor unit may receive the plurality of images from the plurality of cameras. At least one processor in communication with the sensor unit may correlate each received image with calibration data for the camera from which the image was received. The calibration data may comprise camera position data and characteristic data. The processor may combine at least two of the received images from at least two of the cameras into the at least one combined image by orienting the at least two images relative to one another based on the calibration data for the at least two cameras from which the images were received and merging the at least two aligned images into the at least one combined image.

摘要: In a surveillance system including a remote sensor apparatus and a portable receiver, a method is provided for collecting and processing data related to a surrounding environment of the remote sensor apparatus including image data for a scene external to the housing of the apparatus. The method includes receiving, at the processing unit, raw image data simultaneously from a plurality of image sensors as the raw image data is being captured by the plurality of image sensors. One or more light sources are placed around a wide-angle lens fitted to each of the image sensor. Infrared or near-infrared light emanating from the plurality of light sources is used in a dark environment. The method also includes processing, at the processing unit, the simultaneously received raw image data to generate pre-processed image data. The method further includes transmitting the pre-processed image data to the portable receiver using the wireless transceiver.
