    Abstract: A thin backlight module and a manufacturing method of the thin backlight module are provided. The thin backlight module includes a drive substrate, multiple light emitting sources, a fluorescence layer, and multiple particle micro-structures. The light emitting sources are arranged in an array on the drive substrate. The surface micro-structures are arranged on a surface of the fluorescence layer. Each surface micro-structure is arranged corresponding to each light emitting source. Each particle micro-structure is arranged corresponding to each surface micro-structure. Each particle micro-structure and each surface micro-structure together form a guiding layer for dispersing light from a corresponding one of the light emitting sources. Thereby, a smaller light mixing distance and an ultra-thin backlight module thickness are achieved.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a display panel and a method of manufacturing the same. The display panel employs a target light transmission layer disposed on a target light conversion layer for transmitting the target light generated by the target light conversion layer and reflecting the excitation light passing through the target light conversion layer, such that the target light emitted by the sub-pixel units is mixed with a small amount of excitation light or even without excitation light, so that the target light emitted by the sub-pixel units is relatively pure, thereby solving the technical problem that the existing micro-display technology has defects.

    Abstract: A display device, a backlight module and a manufacturing method of a backlight module are provided. The backlight module may include a substrate, a backlight source arranged on the substrate, and a silicone film coated on a light emitting surface of the backlight source. A cross-section of the silicone film along a direction substantially perpendicular to the substrate is an arc to diffuse light emitted by the backlight source. By coating the surface of the backlight source with an arc silicone film, the light angle of the backlight source could be increased, so as to achieve the goal of mixing light with a smaller mixing light distance, which could reduce the thickness of backlight module.

    Abstract: An area light source display module is provided. The area light source display module includes a substrate and a light emitting diode (LED) array disposed on the substrate. A plurality of LED particles disposed on the LED array emit wide-angle light. Each of the LED particles has a lower light intensity distribution at a center of 0° and a higher light intensity distribution at an off-center polar angle θ. θ ranges between 30 degrees and 80 degrees. The LED array includes LED particles emitting the wide-angle light. Therefore, the area light source module can adopt fewer LEDs at a same thickness of the light source display module with an LED having a common light shape, or the area light source module can have a smaller light mixing distance with the same number of LEDs.

    Abstract: A display method and a display device of dynamically controlling backlight are provided. The present disclosure obtains a modified grayscale value of the input image in each of partitions by using the whole backlight reference value, the RGBW grayscale values of the input image in each of partitions, the normalized backlight output brightness value, and the spatial distribution function of the backlight brightness in each of partitions. The normalized backlight output brightness value of each of partitions is processed as a real backlight output brightness value which is outputted to a backlight driving circuit. The modified grayscale value is processed as a real grayscale value and then the real grayscale value is outputted to a display panel for display. The backlight and image grayscale of each of partitions are adjusted dynamically, thereby improving contrast space and power consumption and further, normally displaying the HDR contents in the HDR display.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a stereoscopic display for naked eyes includes a two-dimensional display panel, a stereoscopic module for the naked eyes and a light converting module. The stereoscopic module for the naked eyes is deposited between the two-dimensional display panel and the light converting module. The two-dimensional display panel is used to output a two-dimensional image based on the linearly polarized light; the stereoscopic module for the naked eyes is used to output a three-dimensional image based on the linearly polarized light. The light converting module is used to convert the linearly polarized light to a circularly polarized light and output a three-dimensional image based on the circularly polarized light.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is to provide a slit grating applied in autostereoscopic display apparatus and autostereoscopic display apparatus. The slit grating includes a substrate and a plurality of light-shielding strips arranged in intervals on the substrate; the light-shielding strips is used to shielding incident light; the slit grating further includes a wire grid among a light-transmitting region between the light-shielding strips, and the wire grid is used to transmitting a first polarized component of the incident light and reflecting a second polarized component that is perpendicular to the first polarized component of the incident light. The autostereoscopic display apparatus includes a backlight module, a liquid crystal display and the slit grating. The present disclosure can improve brightness of display device, and achieve cost decreasing and thickness reducing at the same time.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a colorimetry calculation method for a display. The display includes a quantum dot backlight module and a first polarizer, wherein the quantum dot backlight module includes a light guide plate, a quantum dot thin film layer, and a backlight. The method obtains the correction spectrum of the quantum dot backlight module, and obtains the true spectrum of the quantum dot backlight module when the first polarizer is arranged on the light exit side of the quantum dot backlight module based on the correction spectrum and the measurement spectrum, that is, the modified spectrum, so as to accurately simulate the chromatic offset phenomenon due to the secondary excitation of the first polarizer, and provide the basis for the quantitative design of the display including the quantum dot backlight module. The present disclosure also discloses a chromaticity calculation method of a display.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a display device and a color filter. The color filter includes a dielectric layer and wire grid structures on the dielectric layer, each of the wire grid structures includes a first wire grid unit, a second wire grid unit, a third wire grid unit, and a fourth wire grid unit. The first wire grid unit, the second wire grid unit, the third wire grid unit, and the fourth wire grid unit respectively includes a plurality of wire grids spaced apart from each other. Grid-spaces of the first wire grid unit, the second wire grid unit, the third wire grid unit, and the fourth wire grid unit are different. With such configuration, the white CIE composited by the R sub-pixel, the G sub-pixel, and the B sub-pixel may be matched with the white CIE of the W sub-pixel.

    Abstract: A display panel and a display device are provided. A light-controlling component configured to adjust a signal transmitter is disposed on a light-emitting surface of the signal transmitter of the display panel, thereby allowing modulated light, emitted from the signal transmitter disposed at a predetermined included angle with respect to a bottom surface of a cover plate, to be totally reflected between a top surface and the bottom surface of the cover plate. Total reflection is interrupted at a position where a user's finger touches. Light is received and recognized by a plurality of light sensors on a sensor array after entering the display panel, thereby realizing under-display fingerprint recognition in a large area.
