    Abstract: The present invention teaches a light source module including a substrate, and a number of first and second LEDs disposed on the substrate. The first and second LEDs provide light of different viewing angles. A backlight module using the light source module may switch between two modes of lighting, one of a wider viewing angle and the other one of a narrower viewing angle. A LCD device using the backlight module therefore may provide different brightness to different viewing angles. Such a LCD device may differentiate itself among similar products, and achieve enhanced competitiveness in the market.

    Abstract: Provided are a backlight surface light source and a liquid crystal display device. The backlight surface light source includes a mini light emitting diode substrate and a plurality of mini light emitting diodes disposed on the mini light emitting diode substrate, and the mini light emitting diode has a micrometer size, which can greatly reduce a thickness of the backlight surface light source; the mini light emitting diode substrate is provided with a through hole, and the mini light emitting diodes are disposed on the mini light emitting diode substrate evenly around the through hole. The mini light emitting diodes can be decreased to reduce the production cost, and meanwhile, the uniform illumination of the backlight surface light source can be ensured. The backlight surface light source has a thin thickness and can uniformly emit light, which is favorable for a thin design of the liquid crystal display device.

    Abstract: A curved surface backlight module and a curved surface display device are provided. The backlight module includes a plurality of light-emitting units. The light-emitting units include reflector cups. The plurality of reflector cups include first reflector cups located in an edge partition and second reflector cups located in a central partition. The first reflector cups are asymmetric with respect to a first curved surface normal corresponding to a position at where the first reflector cups are located. A maximum brightness center of the first reflectors of the edge partition can be made to emit light parallel to a user's viewing direction, and brightness attenuation at an edge of a display device can be relieved.

    Abstract: A flexible liquid crystal display (LCD) module for double-side display includes a flexible substrate, a first blue light emitting diode (LED) set and a second blue LED set arranged on the flexible substrate. A first yellow phosphor layer and a second yellow phosphor layer are arranged on the first blue LED set and the second blue LED set, respectively. A first flexible LCD panel and a second flexible LCD panel are combined with the flexible substrate through a first fixing material and a second fixing material, respectively. The LCD module is fabricated by flexible material. The first and second flexible LCD panels display identical or different images simultaneously.
