    摘要: A device for sensing discharges in a test object (1) with two electric connection conductors (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d), preferably a cable joint, comprises at least one first and one second sensor (2a, 2b) and evaluation equipment (EVU). Each one of the sensors generates and supplies to the evaluation equipment sensor signals in dependence on current pulses through the connection conductors and the direction thereof, the first sensor a first sensor signal (v1) and the second sensor a second sensor signal (v2). The evaluation equipment generates in dependence on received sensor signals an indication signal (IND), indicating a partial discharge in the test object. The device comprises a first tuning unit (T1) associated with the first sensor and a second tuning unit (T2) associated with the second sensor, each unit, in dependence on the respective sensor signal, forming a first filter signal (SF1) and a second filter signal (SF2), respectively, periodically oscillating with a preselected period (TP), as well as a multiplying member (MU), which is supplied with, and in dependence on said filter signals, forms a product signal (SP), whereby the evaluation equipment forms the indication signal in dependence on the product signal.

    摘要: A device for generation of electric square pulses with a short rise time, comprises at least an energy-storing capacitor in the form of a coaxial cable with an insulated screen, wherein essentially the whole coaxial cable is wound up in an inner closed cylindrical container of metal, a direct-voltage source for charging this screen, and devices for short-circuiting the screen to zero potential during generation of pulses. These devices together with the inner cylindrical metal container are enclosed in an outer closed container of metal, and one end of the coaxial cable is intended for connection to a load and the other end of the coaxial cable terminates with a resistor which has the characteristic impedance of the cable. Between the inner cylindrical container and the outer container, a ferrite ring-core is placed around the devices for short-circuiting and both cable ends.

    摘要: A high voltage AC transmission cable system for transmitting power between two points, each connected to one or more power networks, and a method to operate the system. At least one transformer is arranged at each end of the AC transmission cable, wherein at least one of the transformers is arranged to operate the transformer at a voltage whereby losses due to reactive power transport and dielectric losses are minimized. The AC cable is run at a variable voltage regulated such that the voltage is a function of the load for the transmission cable. This operating voltage is not necessarily the same as the nominal voltages in the connection points. A control and communication system and a graphical user interface for carrying out the method are also provided.

    摘要: Access control is a technology that allows remote locking and unlocking of doors. The information to cause these systems to function is usually derived from keypads, magnetic cards, proximity cards, motion detectors, manually activated switches and time schedules read by a computer. Many of the locking devices on the doors selected for access control are manually activated only. In order to implement an access control system, these devices must be made to activate electrically by some means. The common method to do this is to replace this very good and durable hardware with new hardware that has electric activation incorporated into it. This is a very expensive method to gain the functionality needed. Other methods are also used but the result often compromises security and the locking system integrity. This invention is a new approach to gaining the desired functionality, without compromising the safety, security and locking integrity of the door and lock system. This invention meets the need but at a much more reasonable cost. It is equipment that is added to the existing door hardware.
