Abstract: Electronic devices and methods are disclosed. First and second electronic devices include processors, which implement one or more methods, including receiving sensor data, determining an exercise starting timepoint based on first sensor data, estimating an exercise posture of a user based on second sensor data, estimating a pattern of change in distance between each of the plurality of external electronic devices, indicated by changes in the relative position between each the plurality of external electronic devices over a time period of the determined exercise starting timepoint, based on third sensor data, and generating exercise information based on the estimated exercise posture and the estimated pattern of change in distance between the plurality of external electronic devices.

Abstract: An electronic device comprises: a memory; a battery; a speaker; a sensor module; a communication module; and a processor electrically connected to the memory, the battery, the speaker, the sensor module, and the communication module, wherein the processor is configured to: control the communication module to establish a first communication link with a sound source electronic device and transmit a first posture value calculated based on a sensor value obtained from the sensor module over the first communication link, receive audio data rendered based on the posture value from the sound source electronic device, communicate, based on device state information of the electronic device, with an external electronic device through a second communication link so as to request a role switching preparation, and transmit a role switching message to the external electronic device and notify the sound source electronic device of role switching with the external electronic device, wherein after role switching, the electronic device transmits the first posture value to the external electronic device.

Abstract: The present application relates to a flexible electronic device for sensing a deformation state and a method for operating the same. An electronic device comprises a housing; a flexible display; at least one first sensor disposed in the housing; at least one second sensor disposed in the housing and different from the at least one first sensor; at least one processor disposed in the housing and operatively connected to the flexible display, the at least one first sensor, and the at least one second sensor; and memory operatively connected to the at least one processor, wherein the memory stores instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform a plurality of operations comprising: acquiring first data from the at least one first sensor; activating the at least one second sensor at least partially based on the acquired first data; acquiring second data from the at least one second sensor; and sensing a deformation state of the flexible display at least partially based on the acquired first or second data.

Abstract: A foldable mobile terminal apparatus and control method are provided. The apparatus includes a first section, a second section coupled to the first section and movable between a folded state and an unfolded state including a plurality of partially folded states, a flexible display coupled to the first and second sections, a first sensor, and at least one processor to, while the mobile terminal apparatus is partially folded, identify one of the partially folded states of the mobile terminal apparatus, and control the display to display information corresponding to a compass direction based on magnetic related information obtained by the first sensor and according to the identified partially folded states. The electronic device can prevent distortion of the first sensor caused by the display by calibrating the geomagnetic value of the sensor based on an angle between a first surface of a first section and a third surface of the second section.
