Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication interface; a memory configured to store first identification information corresponding to an external electronic device and second identification information corresponding to a communication processor (CP) of the external electronic device, and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to generate authentication information based on at least the first identification information and the second identification information, generate an electronic signature corresponding to the authentication information through encryption of at least a part of data related to the authentication information, and transmit the electronic signature to the external electronic device using the communication interface.
