Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to system resource management in a variety of situations. The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for reducing memory requirements and improving processing speed when an electronic device performs padding for a particular arithmetic operation on data. To achieve the above objective, a method for operating an electronic device according to the present disclosure comprises the steps of: reading a first portion of data from a first memory; determining a first padding address based on the address of a byte belonging to a boundary region of the data among a plurality of bytes included in the first portion; writing values of the plurality of bytes and a value corresponding to the first padding address to a second memory; and reading a second portion of the data from the first memory.

Abstract:
Provided are an electronic apparatus and method for performing an operation based on recognizing a user's command utterance without a call word. The method includes identifying a dedicated language model related to a displayed content; receiving an utterance of a user; recognizing the received utterance and identifying candidate texts of the recognized utterance; identifying a similarity between the recognized utterance and the identified candidate texts; identifying, based on the identified dedicated language model and a predetermined threshold value, a suitability of a predetermined number of candidate texts with a high identified similarity, among the candidate texts; based on the identified suitability being outside a predetermined suitability range, ignoring the recognized utterance; and based on the identified suitability being in the predetermined suitability range, identifying a candidate text having a highest suitability, among the candidate texts, as the recognized utterance, and performing a corresponding operation.
Abstract:
Performing a write operation or a read operation in a memory system may include compressing data of a first size unit, generating a plurality of types of Error Checking and Correction (ECC) information based on the compressed data, combining the compressed data and the plurality of types of ECC information in units of a second size, and writing the information combined in units of the second size into a memory device.
