    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a processor, and a memory storing an application program supporting a task and a database including a first path rule for performing the task. The first path rule includes a plurality of first states of the electronic device. The memory stores instructions that cause the processor to receive a voice command making a request for performing the task to transmit the voice command to an external server, to receive a second path rule including a plurality of second states of the electronic device for performing the task to execute the plurality of second states included in the second path rule, in response to the reception of the second path rule, and when an error occurs during the execution of the plurality of second states, to execute at least part of the plurality of first states included in the first path rule.

    Abstract: A backlight apparatus includes a substrate which includes a plurality of layers. A plurality of light emitting modules are arranged on a top layer of the plurality of layers closest to a light guide panel, and a plurality of wires penetrates through the plurality of layers to electrically connect the light emitting modules and a plurality of driving units. Accordingly, the width of the substrate of an edge type backlight apparatus which can provide local dimming is reduced.     Abstract: An electronic device for providing an in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) service using migration and a method thereof are provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a connector exposed through the housing and connected to an IVI system, a processor positioned in the housing and operatively connected with the connector, and a memory positioned in the housing and be operatively connected with the processor. The memory includes a first system software, a hypervisor configured to execute the first system software, and instructions. The instructions, when executed by the processor, control the electronic device to: receive state information about the IVI system through the connector, receive at least part of a second system software of the IVI system through the connector, install the at least part of the second system software to execute on the hypervisor, cause the IVI system to be inactivated, execute the first system software and the second system software on the hypervisor using at least part of the state information, and provide data resulting from operations of the first system software and the second system software to the IVI system through the connector.

    Abstract: A method of improving antenna performance and an electronic device configured to improve the antenna performance are provided. The electronic device include: a housing; an antenna located inside the housing or formed as part of the housing; a radio frequency (RF) interface configured to transmit/receive wireless signals via the antenna; a groove formed inside an opening in part of the housing; an electrical connector placed inside the groove; a ground member placed inside the housing; a processor electrically connected to the RF interface and the electrical connector; and a memory electrically connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions which enable the processor to detect an external electrical connector inserted into the electrical connector, and select at least one of a plurality of electrical paths between the RF interface and the ground member, in response to at least part of the inserted external electrical connector. Various embodiments are provided.
