Abstract: A pixel includes first and second subpixels. The first subpixel includes a first light emitting element, a first transistor configured to drive the first light emitting element, a second transistor configured to apply a data voltage to the first transistor in response to a first write gate signal and a fifth transistor configured to apply a power supply voltage to the first transistor in response to an emission signal. The second subpixel includes a second light emitting element having a viewing angle different from the first light emitting element, a sixth transistor configured to drive the second light emitting element, a seventh transistor configured to apply the data voltage to the sixth transistor in response to a second write gate signal different from the first write gate signal and a tenth transistor configured to apply the power supply voltage to the sixth transistor in response to the emission signal.

Abstract: A display device includes: pixels in an active area, each of the pixels being electrically connected to a corresponding data line and a corresponding scan line; and a dummy pixel adjacent to at least one of the pixels, and electrically connected to the corresponding scan line and a sensing line. Each of the pixels and the dummy pixel includes: a light emitting element including a first electrode electrically connected to a first node, a second electrode, and an emission layer between the first electrode and the second electrode; a first transistor; a second transistor; a third transistor; a first capacitor; a fourth transistor; a fifth transistor; and a second capacitor. The dummy pixel further includes a sensing transistor electrically connected between the sensing line and the first node.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel, a driving controller, and a data driver. The driving controller generates a data signal based on input image data. The data driver converts the data signal into a data voltage and outputs the data voltage to the display panel. The driving controller includes a deterioration compensator. The deterioration compensator generates an alpha value based on a ratio between a sensed current read from a portion of the display panel applied with a high power voltage or a portion of the display panel applied with a low power voltage and a predicted current calculated from the input image data and generates the data signal using the input image data, a stress value of a pixel, and the alpha value.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display device with a display panel and driver. The driver includes a logo compensator to generate a logo map data with respect to a logo area through which the logo image is displayed and compensates for a brightness of the logo area using the logo map data. The logo compensator includes an extractor, a logo calculator, a logo determination unit, and a brightness compensation block. The extractor extracts logo area data. The logo calculator calculates the logo map data with first data corresponding to a first image recognized as the logo image and second data corresponding to a second image recognized as a logo background image. The logo determination unit sets a boundary area and determining whether a first area corresponding to the first image overlaps the boundary area to output determination data. The brightness compensation block compensates for the brightness of the logo area.
