    Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic device which include a display layer that includes a plurality of pixels, a sensor layer disposed on the display layer and includes a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes, a display driver that drives the display layer, and a sensor driver that drives the sensor layer and selectively operates, in a proximity sensing mode, in a first mode or a second mode different from the first mode. When the electronic device enters the proximity sensing mode, the display layer operates in an active period during which data are received from the display driver and a blank period during which the data are not received. The sensor driver operates in the second mode in a period overlapping the blank period.

    Abstract: An input sensing device includes a sensor that includes a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes, and a sensor driver that operates in a first sensing mode and a second sensing mode. During the first sensing mode, the sensor driver generates a first sensing signal by transmitting transmission signals to the sensor and receiving reception signals from the sensor. During the second sensing mode, the sensor driver generates a second sensing signal by transmitting the transmission signals to the sensor and receiving the reception signals from the sensor. The sensor driver selects one of a plurality of compensation maps based on the first sensing signal, compensates for the second sensing signal based on the selected compensation map, and outputs the compensated sensing signal.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes: an input sensor on a display panel; and a sensor controller configured to operate in a first mode for sensing a first input by an input device or a second mode for sensing a second input through the input sensor, the sensor controller being configured to transmit an uplink signal to the input device through the input sensor and to receive a downlink signal from the input device through the input sensor in the first mode, wherein an input sensing frame comprises an uplink period in which the uplink signal is provided to the input sensor, and an interval between a start time point of the display frame and a start time point of the uplink period is variable in a unit of at least one input sensing frame during k input sensing frames, where k is an integer equal to or greater than 2.
