Abstract: A display panel includes a first substrate in which first, second and third pixel areas and a light blocking area are defined, and a second substrate. The first substrate includes a base layer, a first wavelength conversion layer disposed under the base layer, a second wavelength conversion layer disposed under the base layer, an optical layer disposed under the base layer, a first partition layer disposed between the first and second wavelength conversion layers and including a first layer including a same material as that of the optical layer and a second layer spaced apart from the base layer with the first layer interposed therebetween, and a second partition layer disposed between the second wavelength conversion layer and the optical layer.

Abstract: A display panel includes an upper substrate to which external light is incident, a sealing member which is in a non-display area and couples the upper substrate to a lower display substrate. The upper display substrate includes: a base substrate; a light shielding layer and filter layer each corresponding to the non-display area and absorbing a portion of external light which is transmitted through the base substrate at the non-display area, the filter layer and the light shielding layer having different colors from each other. In a first non-display area of the base substrate which corresponds to the sealing member, only one among the filter layer and the light shielding layer is disposed. In a second non-display area of the base substrate which is adjacent to the first non-display area, both the filter layer and the light shielding layer are disposed.

The partition wall includes a partition wall part overlapping the light blocking area and a reflection part disposed on the partition wall part. The upper display substrate includes a base substrate, a color filter layer disposed on the base substrate, and a light control layer disposed on the color filter layer. The light control layer is configured to control the light having the first color. The partition wall is disposed on the light control layer.

Abstract: A display device includes a pixel unit configured to emit light. The display device includes a lower substrate, a plurality of light-emitting devices, an upper substrate, a bank layer, and a functional layer. The plurality of light-emitting devices is on the lower substrate. The upper substrate is on the lower substrate. The plurality of light-emitting devices is between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. The bank layer is on one surface of the upper substrate facing the lower substrate. The bank layer includes partition walls defining a central opening corresponding to the pixel unit and an auxiliary opening adjacent to the central opening. The functional layer fills the central opening. The functional layer includes at least one of quantum dots and scattering particles. The plurality of light-emitting devices includes a main light-emitting device overlapping the central opening and an auxiliary light-emitting device overlapping the auxiliary opening.
