Abstract: A light emitting device that includes a first electrode, a second electrode provided on the first electrode, and an emission layer provided between the first electrode and the second electrode is provided. The emission layer includes a fused polycyclic compound, and may also include at least one of a second compound, a third compound, or a fourth compound. The fused polycyclic compound includes three aromatic rings fused by boron and nitrogen atoms and also includes substituents with steric properties that may reduce or prevent the negative impact caused by intermolecular interactions and improve the emission efficiency and service life of the light emitting device.
